Visible Image is in the Holiday Spirit!

It's Tuesday! Which means it is my day for Visible Image! Have you started you holiday cards, yet! Can you believe that Christmas is around the corner? Now I do believe that it is a little soon to bring out the Christmas decorations, but it is never too early to get started on those holiday cards!

Today I am showcasing a card using a few different stamps from Visible Image. Here it is:

I used the following Visible Image Stamps on this card: Tree Trio, Sleigh Silhouette, and Christmas & New Year

The first I took in making this card was to use chalks to create the sky/moon background. I stamped the Sleigh Silhouette on top of the chalk. The bottom of the scene is white cardstock to create the snow. I stamped and hand-cut the small tree from Tree Trio and adhere to the scene. The last part was to stamp the sentiment and piece the card together.

Thank you for stopping by today! Please stop by Visible Image to see their large selection of holiday stamps! Looking for more inspiration? Check out the Visible Image blog for a variety of projects.

A 'Prickley' Christmas Tree

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week?? And that means Christmas is right around the corner!  So do I decided to use Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps to make a easy Christmas card for you all today!  Being that today is Monday, hop on over to the Prickley Pear blog to see some amazing design team creation!

Here is my Christmas creation using the Christmas Tree Die and a simple sentiment:

To add some dimension to the card, I placed the middle tree on a foam dot to 'pop' the tree off the card.  The sentiment is stamped right on the satin ribbon! But beware! So inks will spread on the ribbon, causing the image to blur.

Are you starting you Christmas/Holiday cards? Stop by the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps store to see their wide-variety selection!

Hello, everyone! Thank you for stopping by today! It's Tuesday, meaning the reveal of a new Visible Image project! It has been one busy week over at Visible Image! They just revealed 3 new amazing stamp sets. One being the "Immortal Love"stamp set, which I used on today's card!

New Sets Revealed at Visible Image!

Can you believe that it is November already? What better way to start a new month than with new stamps!   Today, over on the Visible Image blog , three new stamp sets have been released (Immortal Love, Free Your Imagination, and Beauty in Art).

Today, I will be showcasing a card I made using the Immortal Love stamp set. Here it is:

So when I first saw this set, I was trying to figure out a Twilight theme card that I could create. But I was stumped. So I started with the sentiment. "Love" is stamped in black and hand-cut. "Is forever" is stamped onto the card in red. Also in red I stamped the rose and hand-cut. I simple "colored" the rose by lightly pressing the ink pad onto the stamped image. I started to piece the card together, but felt that there needed to be a background. So I took the barbwire and stamped the image repeatedly.

Hope you are enjoying the new releases! Don't forget to stop by the Visible Image store to see the new stamps I used today and many more! All orders a a flat shipping rate of £2.00!

gel-a-tins Thanksgiving!

I know that Halloween is this week, but I decided to make a Thanksgiving card using the amazing gel-a-tins Damask stamp set.  I have always thought that gold was the perfect color to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Here is the card that I created-

I used the bigger damask stamp to create the background of the card. The small damask added the perfect touch to the sentiment.

Are you planning a big Thanksgiving dinner or a Holiday party? Need to send elegant invitations? The gel-a-tins Damask Stamp set is perfect for the occasion!

Christmas at Visible Image

It's Tuesday! My day for Visible Image! I am so excited to share today's project with you! With the holiday season around, why not share a holiday card with you!

Here is my card using Visible Image's Tree Trio and Vintage Season's Greetings:

To make more of the 'snowy' effect,  I decided to stamp the trees with white ink and used clear embossing powder to make the trees pop!

It is now time to piece the card together. The trees were hand-cut and attached to the blue background (which was dry embossed with swirls to make it look windy). The snowy hills was cut from white cardstock and the sentiment stamped. I felt the card needed something more, so I wrapped twine around the bottom of the card.

Now I know there are only a few days left to join in our the Visible Image's Monthly Challenge (Autumn). Also, check back on November 1st to see what the next challenge will be (it will be a good one, I promise)!

Also, check out Visible Image on November 3rd for the launch of our newest stamps! There will be tons of inspiration for each of the new sets.

I used a variety of fall colors for the leaves on the bag and randoming placed them around the bag. The tags are made using the leaf dies and stamped in brown in. I also included the sentiment from the stamp set.

To finish the bag, I tied the diecuts together with some twine and a button.

Tuesday Visible Image Day!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!!! Today is an exciting post for me. Today is my first post for Visible Image. Visible Image's design team is full members with different styles. I tend to focus more on Clean and Simple style, but love to venture out once in awhile. Just not today! ;)  Visible Image is an awesome stamp company that sells hand-crafted clear stamps! Check out their amazing store and creations HERE. Need more inspiration? Check out the talented design team creations on the Visible Image blog.

Do you like to play along in challenges that also have awesome prizes at stake? If so, Visible Image Challenge is current hosting their first challenge, Fall/Autumn! Check out the details HERE. There are so many fun challenges planned!

So my first creation with Visible Image was inspired by the current challenge, Fall/ Autumn.
Here it is:

I am showcasing Visible Image's Large Butterfly Stamp. The size is perfect and provides endless possibilities! As some of you might know by now, coloring is not my forte. So I decided to break out the chalk and cotton balls. To fall along with the current challenge, I choose to use oranges and reds.

To go along with the outdoors theme, I decided to emboss the back panel with a woodgrain embossing folder. After adding the ribbon and piecing the card together, voila! There you have it!

Thank you for stopping by today! Please make sure you stop by Visible Image's website, blog, and/or Facebook. And see you back here next Tuesday for my next Visible Image creation!

Eeeeek...too cute!

*Coming from Prickley Pear? Please scroll down if you are looking for my Prickley Pear Post!*

Hello, Gel-a-tins fans! Can you believe that Halloween is next week?!? So why not another festive Halloween card?  Today's card using the single stamp Fall Kitty and the bat stamps from the Witchy Poo Set.

Take a look-

The first step I took in making this card was to stamp the Fall Kitty image onto kraft cardstock. I colored in the image with a variety of markers. Once the ink was dried, I hand-cut the image. I adhered the patterned paper to the card and used a die-cut to cut out the circle on the front.  Using the same die-cut, I also cut a circle out of matching orange cardstock and attached to the "inside" of the card.

It was time to start piecing together the card. I stamped one bat onto the orange circle. The second bat was hand-cut and adhered to the piece of twine. The kitty was glued to the front of the card off to the side of the circle cut-out. I decided to add sticker embellishments to bottom and viola, the card is finished!

Fall Thank Who...You

Happy Monday all! I know most people dread Mondays, but Monday is a FUN day over on the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps blog! It is reveal day for the design team to showcase their latest creations! Make sure and stop over and leave some love!

I am in love with owls. I have not started to collect them, but I seem to be drawn to anything owl! So when I saw the Mini Owls Clear Stamps Set 2, I knew that I need to create something soon! So here it is:

I tried to get a better close-up shot, but it was not going my way. The leaves are colored in using chalk pencils. Once I colored around the lines, I used a q-tip to blend in the colors. I LOVE how the colors pop against the kraft cardstock.

To finish the card, I used the matching die cut to make the owl pop off the card. The last step was to stamp the sentiment from the Oak and Maple Leaf Clear Stamp Set 2.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great weekend and see you soon with another Prickley Pear creation!
