Joy Clair - Song of Solomon Card

Hello, Joy Clair friends! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts. I am excited to be sharing one of my latest Joy Clair projects with you today!

As you may know, Joy Clair has started a new line of Bible Journaling stamps, Color by Faith. These stamps are full of amazing images that are perfect for bible pages and even cards!

Today, I am working with the new set, Song of Solomon.

Song of Solomon Clear Stamps - Joy Clair - 1

Here is the card I made using this fun stamp set:

I used the heart outline stamped in the center with red ink. On a piece of black cardstock, I stamped the "Mr. & Mrs." and banner stamps using white ink and embossed in white as well. Once the images were dried, I cut the banner out and attached on top of the heart outline. The simple sentiment "Congratulations" from the Many Blessings stamp set is stamped at the bottom of the panel. The white panel is attached to a black mat. The mat is attached to a printed card-base.

LOVE Burlap Banner

Hello, DCWV friends! It is Jessi from the DCWV Social Network design team. Can you believe that Valentine's Day is less than one month away! Perfect timing to bring out the Valentine's Day décor!

I have a fireplace mantel that I leave the same décor on it year round. However, this past Thanksgiving, I decided to decorate it for the fall. I had so much fun switching the décor from fall to winter and have been looking forward to doing something different for Valentine's Day.

Recently, I received some new product available, Gold Threaded Burlap, at Hobby Lobby stores. One stack was of burlap paper that included strand of gold throughout the burlap. I knew right away, I wanted to make a banner with it! So I trimmed the sheet to make the banner pendants. Time to gather up the supplies!

Next thing to do is to paint the letters using stencils.

To help bring out the gold touches, I wanted to added additional gold to the banner. Using DCWV Foil cardstock, I punched out hearts and created these doilies to be placed in between the pendants. After the paint dried, I punched holes in the top corners of the pendants. (These will be where you where string the pendants together.

To piece the banner together, fold the doilies in half and glue with the twine in the crease. Place one the first pendant of the banner and attach another doily. Repeat until the banner is complete!

Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to keep visiting! There are some amazing things in work at DCWV! We cannot wait to share them with you!

I am excited to be sharing my projects from the new sets:
Hedge Hogtastic
I chose to use markers that matched the patterned paper to color in the adorable hedgehog! A few enamel dots are attached to add some pretty shine to the card!
John 3:16
I am still trying to get comfortable with actually creating in my bible, hoping I will get over it and actually do bible journaling next month! But for now, I am creating in a notebook journal. For this page, I inked hearts in a variety of colors to make it look like God is pouring his love on everyone on Earth!
Love Tree
This is an adorable stamp set! Perfect for Valentine's Day cards! This CAS card is created with the stamps and a few crayons!
God’s Love
The image is stamped in brown to allow the words to really pop! The sun rays are colored in with crayons! Hint: Twistable crayons are easy to work with while during bible journaling!
Love Quotes
The galaxy background is created with a variety of watercolors. Once the paint dried, I splattered white paint onto the 'galaxy' background. The sentiment is embossed on the card with white powder. The moon is paper-pieced.
You & Me
I simply adorable my relationship with books! They bring me some much need relaxation! So in my weird mind, for some reason I thought about making a bookmark using this stamp set! I am thankful for the quiet time books provide me!
Designer Labels
I paper-pieced the tags and dress onto the notebook page. I added a strip of vellum with washi tape. On top of the vellum, I stamped the fun sentiment in white ink.
Now let’s talk about prizes! There will be THREE winners from the blog hop. Each winner will receive a stamp set of their choice from the new release! All you have to do is leave a comment on each of the blogs throughout the hop! You have until January 22, 2016 at midnight EST. The winners will be announced by Monday, January 25th.

PAWSitively Wonderful!

Hello, Pretty Cute Stamp fans! Hope you are having a fabulous week! I am excited to share my project with you today!

I am working with the adorable Doggone It and Fur Baby stamp sets!

These dogs are 'barking' to be a part of a scene card! I used a diecut rectangle to create the scene. Using distressed inks, I blended the ink to make the sky and grass. The dog and dog bowl images are stamped and colored onto cardstock. The images are cut out and attached to the scene. The scene card is attached using foam dots to the card base. A few cloud die cuts are added to the scene. A sentiment is stamped and embossed in white on a black banner. The banner is attached to the card.

All You Need Is Love

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! I just got back from the CHA show and I had a blast! I even got to meet the sweet Pink & Main boss, Michelle, in person! She is amazing!

Have you seen the new January release? It is full of super fun images and a variety of stamp sets, including some fun word sets. The fun thing about the word sets...they come with their own matching word dies...INCLUDING a shadow die!!!

Today, I am working with the True Love stamp set.

I LOVE the kraft, red and white color combination. I wanted to give it a try on a Valentine card. When I saw the True Love stamp set, I knew this would be the perfect one to use the combo on. I gathered a few heart stamps from other Pink & Main stamp sets and stamped then in white, pink, and red inks. I wanted it to look like the hearts were falling, so I stamped the larger ones at the top and moved to the smaller hearts towards the bottom. I stamped the LOVE sentiment in white ink in the bottom right corner. It was a very simple card to create. Just be careful on stamping the hearts and not smear the ink from another heart.

Please continue to stop by the Pink & Main blog to see the January Release!

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Today, I am sharing a card I made using the new Sweet Dreams Baby stamp set.

This boy on the moon image is too adorable! I wanted to make sure it was the star of the card. I used a few different markers to color in the image. Once the image is colored, I cut it out. I stamped the cloud images with white, along with the sentiment. I feel that the white really pops! The moon image is attached with foam dots.

It is time for a new Pink & Main Stamps Monthly Challenge!

Bring out the bling, the glitter, anything that sparkles!

I paired up a beautiful sentiment from the Pink & Main's Believe Script stamp set with a sparkling glitter cardstock. I really wanted the focus to be the glittery paper and the simple sentiment. To highlight the sentiment, I used a oval die to show off the wording.

    Happy Day Phone Case

Happy New Year's Eve, DCWV friends! Boy, 2015 went by fast!

A few weeks ago, I bought a new cover for my phone. I bought one with a clear backing with plans of doing something creative with it!

I love the colors in the Happy Day stack. They go perfect with the gold frame of the case.

I picked a pretty foil polka dot print to be the background of the phone. I used a printed saying that is part of the stack and cut it down to size to fit the case. I pieced the two papers together and placed inside the case.

Once the paper is in the case, I used a pencil to trace around the camera hole. Using an exacto knife, I cut the camera hole out.

I am excited about how this turned out. No more boring phone case!

Thank you for stopping by! Happy New Year!

Joy Clair - Paisley Bouquet Card

Today on the Joy Clair blog, the design team is showcasing the cute Paisley Bouquet stamp set. The set is full of fun images and sentiments.

I did repeat stamping with the layered flowers from the Paisley Bouquet set.

I stamped the background of the flower all over the card with yellow ink. I used the outline stamp and stamped the image in black over the yellow. To fill in the 'white space' with the HELLO stamp from the set.

Please stop by the Joy Clair blog to see the rest of the DT Paisley Bouquet stamp set creations.

I wanted to create a simple scene card using the Warm Holidays stamp set. I stamped a few images at the bottom of the card. The scene is colored with a variety of markers. The sentiment is added towards the top of the card to fill in the white space.

Today starts a new Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge! This month the challenge is 'Anything Goes'!

I used the very cute Gingerbread House stamp set for my card today.

This large image is easy to color with markers. Once the image was colored in, I used a white gel pen to 'add' snow to the top of the gumdrops. I wanted to keep the card pretty simple. So I rounded the corners to add a special touch to the card.

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! We are having a birthday party tomorrow, so birthday theme projects have been on my mind. So I brought out the new Pink & Main Birthday Girl stamp set and coordinating die.

I picked out the festive birthday hat paper for the background of the square card. I colored the birthday girl image with colors to match the paper. Once the image was colored, I used the coordinating die and cut out the image. The girl is attached to the card with foam dots. The sentiment is stamped onto a pendant diecut.

The green chevron print is attached to a red cardstock mat. The sentiment is stamped on a printed strip of paper. I used bright, festive holiday chipboard stickers to add texture and dimension to the card.
