gel-a-tins Crackle Clover

** If you are stopping by for the Trendy Twine Bunny Hop, please continue to the next post below**

Hello, gel-a-tins fans! Do you like to celebrate St. Patrick's Day? If so, how! Do you wear green? Drink beer? Eat some Irish food?

Today's creation is a simple card to make!

I used gel-a-tins Crackle Paint background stamp to add the textured look to the shamrock leaves (simple heart shaped cardstock). I used three of them to form the clover. A bright red button and lime twine is added to the center of the shamrock.

The last step was to add the sentiment and attach the shamrock rhinestones.

Sending you Trendy Luck!

Hello, Trendy Twiners!!! It's Jessi from Kissin' Krafts! Today I am sharing a simple CAS card using Trendy Twine Twisted Lime, this month's spotlight color.

Here is my creation:

To form the clover, I stamped the image onto cardstock. Once the image is covered with glue, I start to form the clover with the twine. Completing one leaf at a time.  The stem is colored with marker and the entire image is cut out. To finish the clover, I added a button and a Cranberry Twine bow. Once the clover is attached to the cardstock, I stamped the sentiment and the card is finished!

Sweet gel-a-tins Thank You

Hello, gel-a-tins fans! It is Jessi here from Kissin' Krafts. Today I am excited to share my newest creation using gel-a-tins products.

I would like to show you this card using gel-a-tins Sweet Hearts, Honey Bear and gelly gem roll-ups

To decorate the cupcake, I used black embossing powder to raise the edges of the outline. The frosting is made using puffy paint. Markers were used to color in the hearts and cupcake liner. Gelly gem roll-ups are made to look like sprinkles on cupcake.

This card is created using a variety of patterned papers. The sentiment (from Honey Bear) is stamped, repeatedly, onto one of the strips of paper.

Visible Image Bookmark

Hello, everyone! So I had to go out-of-town for a few days and was able to pick up a book for the first time in a LONG time! As I took my first reading break, I realized that I didn't have a bookmark and had to bend the page (one of my pet-peeves)!

So Visible Image to the rescue! Who likes to curl up and ready a book while sipping a cup of hot coffee or for me hot chocolate!

Here is the bookmark I created using Visible Image's Tea for 2 stamp set:

The tag is created using a Spellbinder die cut. The background is created using Visible Image's Gingham background stamp. The cup is paper-pieced using patterned papers for Lily Bee Designs.
The sentiment is made using alpha letter stickers. A tassel is made out of a colorful twine.

There is still time to enter the Visible Image's Monthly Challenge. The theme is LOVE. Check out the details HERE.

Raindrops are falling!

Hello, everyone! It's Jessi here from Kissin' Krafts! I don't know about you, but I love the rain! And here in Texas, the spring tends to be the only time we really get any rain!

Here is the card I created using gel-a-tins, Raindrops are Falling Stamp set:

I absolutely love paper-piecing with stamps! As soon as I saw the stamp with the woman and the umbrella, I knew that was what I was going to do!

I created the 'window' by using a circle diecut and cutting the circle out of the patterned paper. The sentiment is stamped onto a different diecut and added using foam dots. Colorful twine is wrapped around the card to add another pop of red to the card.

Thank you for stopping by! If it happens to be raining where you are, hope you stay dry and find some time to create!

It's my Visible Image Day!

Can you believe that it is Tuesday? (Feels like Monday, with the federal holiday yesterday!) Since it is Tuesday, that means I have another Visible Image creation to share with you today! Today I am sharing a card/invite that I made using the Movie Set from Visible Image.

Some may know that Sunday are the Oscars. A time to celebrate movies! As a film major in college, I always watched the award show. (However, times have changed! Having kiddos means less time watching movies!) But, any who...

Here is my card using the Movie Set stamp set:

**When I had this card in mind, I bought glitter gold letters to use from 'Oscars'. However, I think I left them in the plastic bag and threw them away. So I went with the white glitter letters.

I love the Movie Set stamp set! My favorite are the different size film strips! I am waiting for the perfect picture to make a scrapbook layout using the larger one.

This card is very simple to make.  The film strip is stamped on to the card. Using different letter stickers, I created the sentiment for the card.

To add alittle something extra to the card, I decided to emboss the clapperboard image with black embossing powder.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is tomorrow! Do you have your cards made for your loved ones? Well, I am playing catch up today and finishing mine!

Here is one I made using Inspired by Stamping's Delicate Doilies:

I love the color combo in the current IBSIC (off-white, light brown and red).

I started off by punching out some hearts from kraft cardstock. I took one of the doilies from the Delicate Doilies and stamped the image over the hearts. The back layer is embossed with leaving the bottom of the layer smooth for the sentiment. I finished the layer with a lace ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
