Eat, Drink, and Be Scary

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! Halloween is next month. Are your kids getting excited? I have one that has his costume all planned out and two that will wait to the last minute!

Have you heard of Elizabeth Craft Designs stamp company? They are one of the newest brands now available in the MarkerPOP store.

Today, I am using their Halloween stamp set on my card:

I stamped a few of the designs onto watercolor cardstock and colored in using ZIG Clean Color markers. Once the images were dry, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the image. The next step is to create an A2 card out of watercolor cardstock. On the front of the card, I stamped the gravestone image. I used the ZIGs again to color in the image. I extended the grass on both sides of the image. The sentiment is stamped below the grass. I wanted to include a moon and some stars. The moon is colored in by hand. The stars are from a cluster stamp from the My Favorite Things Somebunny I Love stamp set. The die cut images are attached using foam tape.

I used the following ZIG Clean Color markers on today's project:
022, 024, 070, 052, 046, 047, 035, 094, 010, 095

A Sweet Hello

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! Are you bird watchers? My mother and her parents are. I never really thought I was until I moved to Texas near the Gulf Coast. One of the first things I realized were the different birds and in the certain area that I live...the lack of birds. One of my favorite birds are hummingbirds. They are some fascinating birds. Their bright colors and their speed!

Today's card showcases the Pink & Main's Hummingbirds and Chameleon markers:

The images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto white cardstock. The images are colored in with a variety of Chameleon markers. The images are then cut out using the Hummingbirds coordinating dies. The sentiment is stamped onto a printed strip of paper from the Photo Paper Play Summer Bucket List 6x6 paper pad. The background panel is from the same paper pad.

The following Chameleon markers were used on this project: RD2, RD4, BG1, BG4, GR1, GR3, YG3, BR4, OR4

Hoppy Easter

Happy Friday, MarkerPOP friends! Can you believe that today is the last day of March? Bring on April! So when someone mentions the month of April, I usually think of flowers and bunnies. So let's get to work with some bunnies.

Today, I am working with the Lawn Fawn's Hoppy Easter stamp set and Chameleon markers:

To create the background for the card, I used a few different prints from the Doodlebug's Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad. The hill is formed using a stitched wave die. The two printed are attached to the cardbase.

The bunnies are stamped onto white cardstock, along with the carrot, egg and basket. All images are colored in with a variety of Chameleon markers. The images are then cut out with their coordinating dies. The bunnies are attached on the hill. The egg, carrot, and basket are attached to the bunnies as if they are holding the items. A simple sentiment is stamped onto a orange printed paper and attached to the top of the card.

Please hop on other to the MarkerPOP blog for the list of supplies used on today's card.

Hang in There Scene

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! We are getting our first taste of winter here in Texas. Perfect weather for the upcoming holiday!

Did you see the new Pink & Main November release? One word---ADORABLE! Sloths are so popular right now! Who saw Zootopia? Flash the Sloth was my favorite character!

For today's project, I am pairing up the Sloth stamp set with the oversized Stitched Oval dies.

I wanted to create a scene using a sloth image. I stamped the image and colored with a variety of markers. The image is cut out with the coordinating Sloth dies. I wanted the scene to look like the sloth was hanging out in a tree. I used some leaves and branches diecuts to create the background of the scene. The sloth image is attached on top of the scene. The simple sentiment is stamped towards the bottom of the card.

Tickled Pink

Hello, Pink & Main friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday! Can you believe that it is November and Christmas is around the corner?!? Today, I am trying to get into the holiday spirit and work with some super adorable Pink & Main goodies!

The stamp set I am working with Oh, Deer stamp set:

I love the "Tickle Pink for Christmas" sentiment included in the stamp set. I focused my card on that one sentiment. I chose some pink prints to layer onto the card front. I used the Rounded Rectangle dies on one of the prints. The flamingo image is stamped onto cardstock and colored in with colored pencils. The image is cut out using the coordinating die. The sentiment is stamped onto another pink print. Such an easy card to re-create!

Pink & Main Cocoa Kisses

Hello, Pink & Main friends! I apologize for the late post today. It has been a little crazy here and I finally had time to sit down and write this post. I am excited to share today's card with you. And now I am craving some holiday cookies!

Today I am using the Cocoa Kisses and coordinating dies:

I fell in love with the different cookie stamps included in the set. I wanted to make a card that highlighted the images. I decided to use the no-line technique to color in the cookies. The cookies are stamped in a light brown distress ink. I colored in the cookie outline with the matching ink. I love that there are individual stamps to decorate the cookies. I used red, yellow, and green to decorate the top of the colors.

The stamp set also includes a fancy sentiment. I stamped this in green and used the matching dies to cut it out. At the last minute, I decided to add a fun gingerbread man. The image is stamped in a darker brown and colored in with distress inks. This image is also cut out using the matching die. I added a piece of twine as the final touch when assembling the card.

Pink & Main's Christmas Script

Hello, Pink & Main friends! I have been working on Christmas cards for the last few weeks and I love creating them using non-traditional colors!

Today, I am working with the new Christmas Script stamp set and coordinating die.

I started off by picking a 6x6 paper pad that was full of awesome prints. The entire pad was full of non-traditional prints, so it super easy to mix 'n' match the prints. Using one print, I covered the card base by attaching the paper with tape. I cut out a printed strip to place across the card. I wanted to use this strip to highlight the sentiment of the card. I had a glitter paper that matched the prints. I used the glitter paper with the 'Merry Christmas' word die. The words are attached on top of the printed strip. I wanted to add a little more to the sentiment, so I stamped the rest on a different striped print and added to the card. To fill in some of the empty space, I used a punched out star.

Pink & Main October Challenge

It is the first of October, which means...we start a new Pink & Main Challenge! This month's theme is Fall/Halloween.

I brought out one of Pink & Main's sets from last fall, Scarecrows, for today's card.

To start off this card, I stamped the scarecrow image onto watercolor paper. The image is then painted with a variety of colors. Once the paint dried, I used the Scarecrows coordinating dies to cut out the image. The die cut is then attached to a fun fall print on the front of a card base. A yellow strip is added towards the top of the card. The Hello die is used on a green print and attached to the top of the card. To spell out 'FALL", I used the Banner Alpha stamp set and cut out the word on a pendant diecut. The pendant is attached to the card to complete the card.

Zombies Halloween

Hello, Pink & Main friends! Who is exciting for the fall and upcoming Halloween? I actually bought my daughter's costume yesterday! Much earlier than I normally do. Now just need to get the boys taken care of!

With Halloween in mind, I decided to work with the super cute, but creepy, Zombies stamp set and coordinating dies.

I paired up the zombie image with some Halloween theme printed paper. The girl zombie is stamped onto the cardstock and colored in with markers. The image is cut out using the coordinating dies. To create the scene, I used the Scalloped Waves dies to form the hilly background. The diecut house is attached in front of the starry sky. A simple sentiment is stamped onto a orange print and attached at the card.

How you seen the latest Pink & Main Challenge? There is still time to join the fun! Check out the details HERE!

Pink & Main's Santa Paws

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! Is it wrong to think of snow when it feels like 100 degrees outside? I could really use a break from this HOT summer heat!

Today, I am working the super cute Santa Paws stamp set and coordinating dies.

I decided to create a gift tag using the super adorable dog and snowman image. I stamped the image in black and colored it in with a variety of markers. The image is then cut out using the coordinating die. The banner image is completed in the same process. The tag is create using a die. The snowy ground is made using the Pink & Main Scalloped Waves die. The tag is finished off with some colorful twine.

Let It Snow Snow Globe

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! I am loving the new Pink & Main release. Definitely getting ready for the holidays! Part of the release includes new stamps and dies, but some of the release includes dies for older stamp sets.

Today, I am working with the new coordinating dies for the older Snow Globe stamp set.

I used the Stitched Rounded Rectangle dies to create the white frame. I created the snow globe scene using the Snow Globe stamp set and coordinating dies. The snow globe is attached onto a fun print inside the white frame. The frame is then attached to the snowflake print. A sentiment is stamped below the snow globe.

Wishing You Clear Skies

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi here today! I am showcasing a super cute My Favorite Things stamp set, Sweet Forest Friends and coordinating dies and a variety of Chameleon markers and distress inks.

I love making scene cards that take up the entire card. However, I am switching it up today and creating a spotlight scene. To start off, I made an oval diecut out of watercolor paper. I blended two shades of distress ink, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire to create the sky on the oval. Once the blending was complete, I added a few drops of water. After letting the water soak for a few seconds, I soaked up the water with a paper towel. I created the bottom part of the oval by using a grass border die.  I used a cloud and a moon die to finish off the scene.

I paired up the scene with a few print papers from the 6x6 Pink Paislee Cedar Lane paper pad. I used rectangle dies to create the frame. And a pendant die for the sentiment.

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! How about a sneak peek at the next release. The release will include some new stamps and some new dies. The entire release will be available on the 10th.

Today, I am working with the super adorable Oh, Deer stamp set and coordinating dies.

I used the Nested Hexagon and Scallop Hexagon dies to create the background of the scene. The snowy hills are created using the Scallop Waves dies. I stamped the penguin image from the Oh, Deer stamp set and colored with a variety of colors. The penguin is attached to the hexagon with a foam dot. The scene is attached to a printed panel on the card front. The sentiment is stamped in black at the bottom of the card.

Sweet Halloween

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi here today. Did you hear the MarkerPop will be carrying Pink & Main products? There is a HUGE selection on its way to the store, some even available now! Stop by the store to see the variety of Pink & Main stamps and dies!

With today being the 31st, I thought it would be fun to create a Halloween card! Can you believe it is only 2 months away? EEEKK! I am working with the Pink & Main Sweet Halloween stamp set and coordinating dies.

I stamped a variety of the candies and a couple of the vampire cupcake images from the Sweet Halloween stamp set. The images are colored in with a variety of markers and cut out using the Coordinating Sweet Halloween die set. I really wanted the images to pop off the card, so I attached them onto a simple white panel. The panel is attached to a black card base.

The sentiment for the card is stamped in black onto a stitched rectangle. The rectangle is created with the Pink & Main's Stitched Rectangle die set.

Pink & Main Wild About You

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! Sorry this post is arriving late this afternoon. I have been under the weather since Wednesday. Hoping things are starting to look up for the better!

Today, I am working with the super adorable Wild About You stamp set and coordinating dies.

I absolutely love this set! The animals a so cute. When I first saw this fox, I immediately thought of a night scene. So I started off making a watercolor night sky. I wasn't too happy with how it came out, so I decided to cut a circle out of a portion of the panel. I then ran the circle with a star die. The fox image is stamped in black and colored in with a variety of markers. The fox image is cut out using the coordinating dies. I paired up the die cuts with some boho printed papers. The sentiment is stamped on a diecut banner.

Let's Party WILD

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi here today. I love making CAS (Clean and Simple) cards. They are super easy cards to create. Another thing I love... stamps that have coordinating dies! They also make card-making easy!

Today, I am pairing up my favorite style with some of my favorite supplies! Avery Elle's Wild Birthday stamps and coordinating dies and a variety of Chameleon markers.

I started this card with a blank white 3.75in x 5in cardstock panel. The banner stamp is done at an angle to make it look like it was hanging off trees. The letters from the stamp set were stamped onto the pendants to spell PARTY. The banner image is colored in using a variety of blues and greens.

The animals are stamped onto white cardstock and cut out using the coordinating dies. The animals are colored in with markers. Before the animals are attached to the panel, I used the Pink & Main's Scalloped Waves dies to create the green grass background and attached it at the bottom of the panel. The animals are attached using tape adhesive and a foam dot. The panel is attached to a Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangles diecut and is mounted onto the card front.
