Ad inspired Card - The Perfect Sentiment

I was able to sneak another card, during naptime. It didn't turn out the way I envisioned it, but we all know that happens.  I completed this card for the new challenge blog, The Perfect Sentiment. This weeks challenge is to make a card for a friend and use the following ad for inspiration.
Here is my card:
So as you can tell, I got the color off. I honestly looked at the ad once and thought it was more blue than green!  However, I didn't notice the pillow with the 3 buttons until I was finished with the card...so I think the 3 brads were a nice touch!

I used pop dots to give the 3D effect to a few of the blossoms.

    Okay, so it's more blue than green. Heck, who cares when the end result is so pretty? ;-) The flowers are awesome and the way you popped a few of them is awesome. Your ribbon looks fabulous, and yes- the 3 brown brads add the perfect touch! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week!

    Your card is gorgeous! I don't think the blue or green matters, since all of our monitors show the colors differently. The photo DOES look very blue. I looked at it several times before I decided it was teal....but who knows?! lol Whatever, your card is so striking! The flowers are colored beautifully, and I agree with everyone about the flowers you popped up. What a great idea! Your embellished layer is lovely, too. I'm so glad you joined us this week at The Perfect Sentiment!
