Happy National Coffee Day!!

Let me start with...

I am not a coffee lover...I know, I know! How can that be?!?!

However, I love the smell of it and it makes for some perfect gifts! So why not make some coffee related crafts!

Today, I am playing along with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Check out the details, HERE!

CoffeeLoversBloghopBadge

Here is my creation:

I used Sweet Stamp Shop's Coffee Town stamp set (along with their Around Town stamp set). To create the cup tower, I stamped the first image and then taped the bottom cup/saucer and inked the remaining image. I repeated that step a few times. The last cup was cut out and tipped over to look like a spill.

What to get more coffee inspiration? Check out the blog hop HERE to see some amazing projects!

Thank you Chaitali and Amy for putting together a GREAT blog hop!

Thank You Butterfly Reflections, Ink!

Today is my last post for the Butterfly Reflections, Ink Design Team! Where has the time gone! Boy, did that go by fast!

One of my favorite things from the BRI shop has to be the awesome exclusive stamps that were released! They are still available, HERE!

Here is the card I created using the Over the Rainbow set:

To create the rainbow, I stamped the words in black. Then I stamped the remainder of the rainbow in a variety of colors. To create this look, I taped the sections of the image I did not want to color. Once the ink is applied, I would recover the tape and stamp the image.  To add some texture to the card, I added a couple cloud diecuts.

Today I am playing along with the August/September Challenge over at Waffle Flower Crafts! If you have not seen their stamps, stop over and check out their fun designs!

The challenge consists of a sketch or technique or even both. To check out the challenge, click HERE.

Even though my card was inspired by both of the challenges, I decided to focus on the sketch:

Is it a Bag or Is It an Envelope?

Hello, Butterfly Reflection, Ink friends! What better way to start off the new week with a new BRI project!

I have always used treat bags for...well, treats! But the idea came  to me to turn it into an envelope for a card.

I love that the glitter stars add so much texture to a simple treat bag. A simple paper banner is added to the bag to act as a closure. A simple sentiment is stamped on the bottom of the banner.  To finish the envelope, I added a couple different embellishments (the heart and the enamel dots).

It's a Spooky Butterfly Monday!

Hello, Butterfly Reflection, Ink friends! What better way to start off the new week with a new BRI project!

I am excited to share my card today! The stamps are from the newest Lawn Fawn release, which is available in the Butterfly Reflection, Ink store.

I wanted these cute spooks to look like they were peeking through the holes. The holes are created using a circle die. The images are stamped and colored in with a selection of markers. The sentiment is stamped onto a banner held by one of the monsters.

Taylored Expression SSS Challenge

Hello, everyone! School has been back in session for 3 weeks now and I am loving my free time! I have been able to crank out some 'for fun' cards! I am loving that my crafty mojo has started to make an appearance again!

Today I am playing along with the Taylored Expression's SSS challenge! This is my first time playing along with one of there challenges.

Here is the sketch that inspired my card:

And here is my card inspired from the above sketch:

As you can see, I opted to make it a shaped card instead of the traditional rectangle. I dugout a paper pad and some dies and started to play around.

If you have not heard of Taylored Expressions please stop by and check out their store!

Not a fan...but here is my selfie...

Have a great night!

Butterfly Reflections, Ink Monday

Hello, Butterfly Reflection, Ink friends! What better way to start off the new week with a new BRI project!

I usually try to create a project using items from the same collection. But I am realizing how easy it can be to combine items from different companies! For this project I used GOLD from the different companies.

Here is the card I created using elements from Simple Stories (Story of Us) and My Mind's Eye (Jubilee):

When you are making a card that will go with a gift, it is easy to use the scraps to make a gift tag that matches. No need to throw away the scraps!

Check out the supplies I used available in the BRI store:
Simple Stories - Story of Us 6x6 paper pad
My Mind's Eye - Jubilee Beautiful Mixed Bag

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful week!

Little Tangles Sketch Challenge

Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week and finding some time to create something wonderful!
Today starts a new challenge over on the Little Tangles Challenge

Here is the sketch to inspire you!

Danielle Walls's photo.

I decided to break out my watercolor pencils and create this card below:

The watercolor background is created with a mixture of blues and greens watercolor pencils and blended together with a dash of water. The house from the Neat and Tangled's Sweet Home stamp set is stamped and then colored with watercolor pencils as well. The image is cut out and attached on top of the background on the card. A simple sentiment (also from Sweet Home) is added to the card.
