As soon as I heard of the glitter challenge, I was somewhat worried! I do not craft with glitter, so I was stumped on what I was going to create! So as I was staring at my Get, Inky! sets, it finally dawned on me to use glitter on the ice stamp from the Joyful Jar Drinks set! I am super pleased with how that turned out!

gel-a-tins Merci

Hello, everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend so far! Today I am sharing a CAS card using
gel-a-tins Big & Wild Things and Merci stamp sets:

I love the large images. It made it very easy to use multiple colors on the stamp. At first, I inked the image with the light blue color. Next, I took the darker blue and lightly tapped around the outer part of the bloom. To finish the card, I added a simple sentiment. The image/sentiment is added to a blue mat, with rounded edges.

CLD and Prickley Pear Day #4

There have been some many amazing projects this week for the Prickley Pear and Cheery Lynn Designs Cross Promo week! I have been inspired by the talent.

Today I am sharing a this fun card:

I had so much fun working with the Prickley Pear stamps (It Takes Courage and Fishing with Dad) and the Cheery Lynn Design Cloud die. I am fairly new at the blending technique and am having a blast learning it! During the blending, I took one of the cloud dies and blended the blue around it, leaving the white cloud in the middle of the blue sky. I used the blending to create a scene for this card. I love how the black silhouette pops against the color. To finalize the card, I attached the scene to a variety of layers. The sentiment is added along with cloud dies to add dimension to the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Please make sure to stop by Prickley Pear's blog to see the details of their awesome giveaway! Yes, I said a giveaway :) Also, check out Cheery Lynn Design's blog to see the details for their giveaway as well!

Day of Challenges Part #2

Today I have been able to play with a couple of challenges! This card was made with the current Little Tangles Challenge in mind... Embellishments...why not sequins!

Here is my card using Neat and Tangled's Kindness Matters and My Heart Sings stamp sets

I love the aqua and pink color combo, so I decided to keep it simple and color in the bird with those colors. The sentiment (from Kindness Matters) is highlighted on a fancy diecut. To finish off the card, ribbon is added towards the bottom of the card and sequins were added randomly on the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Stop by and check out Neat and Tangled Stamps and they're challenge blog, Little Tangles.

Day of Challenges Part #1

Who is ready for the holiday weekend? I am tackling the project of painting the living room and kitchen, so I spent most of today crafting and playing along with a couple of challenges!

I love the ombre trend that is going on lately, but have not tried the technique yet. That all changed once I saw the inspiration photo from Avery Elle's current challenge:

As you can see, I decided to go with the colors from the inspiration photo. I included the ombre coloring, similar to the water. I also included embossing swirls that reminded me of the soft waters in the photo.

The sentiment is from Avery Elle's Oh, Baby Stamp Set. Each stamp is inked in a different shade of blue.

Thank you for stopping by today! Stop by Avery Elle's challenge to see more amazing projects and inspiration!

Out with the New, In with the Old

So instead of doing housecleaning or other projects, I decided to make a card for the
Sweet Stamp Shop's newest challenge: Use What You Have.
The goal of the challenge is to pull out some older supplies and create something new!
**Side-note: You do not have to have Sweet Stamp Shop Stamps to play along!**

My crafty addiction is Paper! You can never have enough paper right! Well, I will sadly admit that I have tons of paper that I have not used! So with this challenge, I brought out an older paper pad from Cosmo Cricket and create this scenery card using Sweet Stamp Shop's Happy Bugs stamp set.

I LOVE making scenery cards! It feels like it has been awhile since I have made one!

OK, now that I have that out of my system, maybe I should go clean the house...sigh.

Prickley Pear Catch Up!

Boy, where is this month going? Started off with wedding anniversary, birthday, Mother's Day, hops, guest spots, Teacher Appreciation, End of School prep, church Bazaar meetings, etc, etc! I think I am ready for things to slow down some!

Today I am sharing the last two cards that I have made for Prickley Pear:

The Sassy Fox with Flowers is perfect for paper-piecing and coloring. I taped off part of the stamp during the inking process to allow for the repeat flower design. The fox image is stamped twice (once on the card and once to color and cut out).

For this card, I wanted to showcase the mini butterflies dies. Under each butterfly is a different patterned paper/color. To add more rainbow coloring, I repeated the sentiment in different colors.

I'm Featured on Market Street Stamps!

First of all, I would like to start off with a big THANK YOU to Market Street Stamps for this opportunity to be the feature blogger on today's post! My favorite thing about Market Street Stamps is the high-quality, crisp images you get every time! The images are a perfect size for paper-piecing or coloring (which I chose to do on today's project)!

As soon as I got my hands on Market Street Stamps Gone Campin', I knew that I wanted to make some kind on treat packaging for Smores. A few thoughts came to mind and decided to give it a try using canvas treat bags. I started off with stamping the Gone Campin' images with black ink. The first attempt to coloring, I used markers, but they bled too much. For the next attempt, I brought out the color pencils! They worked great!!!

Once again I want to thank Market Street Stamps for this amazing opportunity! It is always fun to create with their fun stamps! Stop on over to my blog, Kissin' Krafts, to see more crafty inspiration!

Thank You Little Birdie

Hello, gel-a-tins friends! Today's project highlights the gel-a-tins Build Your Own Paisley Stamp set. The dotted outline paisley makes a pretty paper-pieced bird.

The wing of the bird was cut-out by outlining the small solid paisley stamp in the Build Your Own Paisley Stamp set. A pendant die cut is used to form the beak.  The decorative window is formed with diecuts as well.   A simple sentiment from gel-a-tins Honey Bear is added to finalize the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Mother's Day TT Packaging

Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing mothers out there! I hope you all are having an enjoyable day!  For me, I am looking forward to doing nothing today (or at least that is the plan)!

For today's special Mother's Day Trendy Twine post, I decided to created a fun candy container that would look awesome in a gift basket full of goodies for that special Mom in your life.

This was very simple to make! First, you need an empty Crystal Light Container. Next, you cover it with fabulous papers (sides, top and bottom). I added the embellishments to the front and the final step was to cover the plastic lid rim with yummy Trendy Twine's Twisted with Teal.

I hope you are enjoying all the fun projects the Trendy Twine design team has created this special Mother's Day post!  Check out the Trendy Twine blog HERE or join us on Facebook to see more awesome creations!

CAS with Get, Inky! Stamps

Hello, Get, Inky! fans! It's Jessi here from Kissin' Krafts. Today I am super excited to share a card I made using the Sew Sweet Cupcakes and Buzzing Bees stamp sets.

As you may know, the current challenge over on the Get, Inky! Challenge blog is Flowers. So I created this very simple card that would be perfect for birthdays or even for Mother's Day!

To create the stems of the flowers, I used the cupcake wrapper ribbon stamp (from the Sew Sweet Cupcakes) and taped off one side during the inking process. When I was ready to stamp, I simple removed the tape and stamped the image.

I really  love the flowers the stamps create when you use the back of the flower stamps in the Sew Sweet Cupcakes stamp set. Once I stamp the flower backing, I used the dot stamp to create the center of the flowers. Last, I used the outline flower stamp to highlight the flowers a little more.

The simple sentiment is from the Buzzing Bees stamp set. To add dimension to the card, I added the sentiment on foam dots, to make it pop off the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you all will hop on over to the Get, Inky! Challenge blog and share your flower creation!
