Have a Cheery Christmas

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi here today! Who is falling in love with all the new holiday stamps coming out in the MarkerPop store? My wishlist is growing everyday!

I was super excited to get my hands on one of the newest stamp sets from Lawn Fawn, Cheery Christmas. As soon as it arrived in the house, I had to rip it open and get started on a card!

I love making scene cards with cutesy stamps! Lawn Fawn stamps are perfect! I stamped the deer images onto white cardstock and colored them in with a variety of Chameleon markers. The images are cut out and set aside. I used two stitched rectangle dies to create the black frame and the smaller rectangle and a Pink & Main Scalloped Waves die to create the snowy ground of the scene. The deer are attached to the scene. I used two stamps to create the mistletoes hanging down. I decided it needed to have a bow and used a stamp from a different stamp set.  The sentiment is created on a banner and the rest at the bottom of the card.

What cute stamps to work with! Check out the rest of the Lawn Fawn stamps available in the MarkerPop store!

DCWV Fall Paper Wreath

Hello, DCWV friends! It is Jessi from the Social Media Design Team. It is Fall and it is time to bring out the fall home décor! A few weeks ago, I shared the start of my decorating with the new Lia Griffith DIY Project Stacks. Today, I am adding to the décor using the new DCWV Autumn Leaves Stack.

This is such a simple wreath to recreate! All you need is the DCWV Autumn Leaves Stack, glue, and a wire coat hanger!

To start the project, form a circle with the wire hanger. You can make the circle to the size that fits your needs.

Next, cut strips of printed paper. You can cut them at any width, mine are done at 1.5inches.

Fold the strips in half and place glue on the inside of one side. Put the crease of strip along the wire and fold in half. Repeat until the circle is full.  To add some detail, I cut part of the strips to make pendant-like tips at the end of the strips. To fill in the gaps in between the wreath, I added a variety of printed strips. To finish the wreath, I cut out a 12inch sentiment and placed across the center.

Let's Stick Together with Adornit

I am super excited to share my first project as an ADORNit Ambassador! It is going to be a fun adventure and looking forward to working with a variety of ADORNit product. Check out their website HERE and their Amazon store, HERE.

ADORNit has a variety of Coloring products. They include books and separate 12x12 pages. Today, I am working with one image from a new ArtPlay paintable page - Floral Jars designed by Carolee McMullin.  I paired the image with some bright ADORNit scrapbook paper designed by Laura Kelly.

I used a variety of greens and blues watercolors to fill in this adorable image. To make the colors brighter, I painted the image in multiple layers. The sentiment is colored in with bright orange. I used a stitched diecut to cut out the image. The panel is attached to a printed base and added to the card. A simple sentiment is stamped to complete the card.

Zombies Halloween

Hello, Pink & Main friends! Who is exciting for the fall and upcoming Halloween? I actually bought my daughter's costume yesterday! Much earlier than I normally do. Now just need to get the boys taken care of!

With Halloween in mind, I decided to work with the super cute, but creepy, Zombies stamp set and coordinating dies.

I paired up the zombie image with some Halloween theme printed paper. The girl zombie is stamped onto the cardstock and colored in with markers. The image is cut out using the coordinating dies. To create the scene, I used the Scalloped Waves dies to form the hilly background. The diecut house is attached in front of the starry sky. A simple sentiment is stamped onto a orange print and attached at the card.

MarkerPop Challenge - Girly

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi here today! Who is ready for another MarkerPop Challenge? This challenge's theme is Girly! So break out you pretty papers and stamps and join in the fun!

I decided to use this faith-based stamp set for an everyday card. I paper-pieced the image and taped off the angel's wings during the stamping process. The image is stamped on a variety of printed papers and cut out. The pieces are placed together onto a pink printed paper. I used Chameleon Marker set of 5-Skin to color in the hair and skin.

The pink panel is attached to wooden printed paper. The sentiment is stamped onto a floral print and tucked underneath the legs of the stamped image. To finish the card, a few enamel dots are added to the card.

Pink & Main's Santa Paws

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! Is it wrong to think of snow when it feels like 100 degrees outside? I could really use a break from this HOT summer heat!

Today, I am working the super cute Santa Paws stamp set and coordinating dies.

I decided to create a gift tag using the super adorable dog and snowman image. I stamped the image in black and colored it in with a variety of markers. Avery Elle - Thank You

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi here today! As I have said before, Avery Elle is one of my favorite stamp companies! Their images are super fun and so easy to work with! So I decided to bring out one of their older sets and give it a new life!

I don't know about you, but when I think of flowers I usually think about bright and cheery colors. I decided that since fall is around the corner, I was going to use fall colors on the flowers in the Avery Elle's Floral Frame stamp set.

The first step I took was to stamp and emboss the image in black. The image is then colored in with a variety of Zig Clean Color Markers. I used some of the regular reds, oranges, and yellows ZIG markers. To turn the colors more into the fall scheme, I added touches of browns. The sentiment is stamped onto a stitched pendant die cut.

Let It Snow Snow Globe

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! I am loving the new Pink & Main release. Definitely getting ready for the holidays! Part of the release includes new stamps and dies, but some of the release includes dies for older stamp sets.

Today, I am working with the new coordinating dies for the older Snow Globe stamp set.

I used the Stitched Rounded Rectangle dies to create the white frame. I created the snow globe scene using the Snow Globe stamp set and coordinating dies. The snow globe is attached onto a fun print inside the white frame. The frame is then attached to the snowflake print. A sentiment is stamped below the snow globe.

Wishing You Clear Skies

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi here today! I am showcasing a super cute My Favorite Things stamp set, Sweet Forest Friends and coordinating dies and a variety of Chameleon markers and distress inks.

I love making scene cards that take up the entire card. However, I am switching it up today and creating a spotlight scene. To start off, I made an oval diecut out of watercolor paper. I blended two shades of distress ink, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire to create the sky on the oval. Once the blending was complete, I added a few drops of water. After letting the water soak for a few seconds, I soaked up the water with a paper towel. I created the bottom part of the oval by using a grass border die.  I used a cloud and a moon die to finish off the scene.

I paired up the scene with a few print papers from the 6x6 Pink Paislee Cedar Lane paper pad. I used rectangle dies to create the frame. And a pendant die for the sentiment.
