Happy Day Phone Case

Happy New Year's Eve, DCWV friends! Boy, 2015 went by fast!

A few weeks ago, I bought a new cover for my phone. I bought one with a clear backing with plans of doing something creative with it!

I love the colors in the Happy Day stack. They go perfect with the gold frame of the case.

I picked a pretty foil polka dot print to be the background of the phone. I used a printed saying that is part of the stack and cut it down to size to fit the case. I pieced the two papers together and placed inside the case.

Once the paper is in the case, I used a pencil to trace around the camera hole. Using an exacto knife, I cut the camera hole out.

I am excited about how this turned out. No more boring phone case!

Thank you for stopping by! Happy New Year!

Joy Clair - Paisley Bouquet Card

Today on the Joy Clair blog, the design team is showcasing the cute Paisley Bouquet stamp set. The set is full of fun images and sentiments.

I did repeat stamping with the layered flowers from the Paisley Bouquet set.

I stamped the background of the flower all over the card with yellow ink. I used the outline stamp and stamped the image in black over the yellow. To fill in the 'white space' with the HELLO stamp from the set.

Please stop by the Joy Clair blog to see the rest of the DT Paisley Bouquet stamp set creations.

With the hectic holiday time, I am behind on a few posting. I would like to share a few more Joy Clair cards I created with different stamp sets.

Pretty Cute Stamps - Anything Goes Challenge

Today starts a new Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge! This month the challenge is 'Anything Goes'!

I used the very cute Gingerbread House stamp set for my card today.

This large image is easy to color with markers. Once the image was colored in, I used a white gel pen to 'add' snow to the top of the gumdrops. I wanted to keep the card pretty simple. So I rounded the corners to add a special touch to the card.

The green chevron print is attached to a red cardstock mat. The sentiment is stamped on a printed strip of paper. I used bright, festive holiday chipboard stickers to add texture and dimension to the card.

    Joy Clair's Hugs & Smiles

Hello, stamping friends! I am excited to share one of my latest Joy Clair creations! Today I am working with one of my favorite sets, Hugs & Smiles.

I am in love with the simple jar image. I used a variety of color inks to stamp the image. (Tip- Use tape to cover parts of the stamp that you do not want inked. Remove tape before stamping the image.) I used a gray marker to add the shadow effect at the bottom of the jar. The sentiment is stamped on a bold strip of patterned paper to help the sentiment stand out.

    Warm Winter Wishes

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! I know that parts of the country have already seen snow. But down here along the Texas Gulf coast, we always hope to be able to see snow. At least hopefully one time per year. I personally, would love to see snow more often!

When I first saw the new stamp set, Grandma's Lace, I thought of snowflakes. So I decided to created a winter themed card using the stamp set.

I stamped the variety lace design with white ink on the bright blue cardstock. The sentiment is from the Scarlett stamp set and stamped onto a pendant diecut.  This is a very simple cardstock to create.

    Come Adore Him

Hello, Pretty Cute Stamp fans! Can you believe it is December? Where does the time go? Before we know it, Christmas will be here!
Today, I am showcasing the holiday sets, Nativity 1 and Nativity 2. The simple image and cute sentiment make it easy to create this CAS card.

To start this card, I stamped the image of baby Jesus in the center of the card. I colored in the image with a variety of markers. Also added a shadow effect with a gray marker. The sentiment is stamped at the bottom of the card. A few sequins are added to the card and the bottom corner.

Trio My Mind's Eye Holiday Cards

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts! I am excited to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog, today!

First of all, let's talk about the current sale going on right now over in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store...

You can check out the deals, HERE!

    Now on to my project...

I don't know about you, but I love to send out Holiday cards to family and friends. However, with our hectic schedules, it makes it hard to find time to create all those cards.  So I am in love with using collections that include a variety of embellishments that match the paper. Today, I made these 3 cards in a matter of minutes.

These cards are made using the My Mind's Eye Christmas on Market Street collection. I used the 6x6 paper pad, flair buttons, and die cuts embellishments.

I love how the flair provides a pop of color on this festive white and gold card. The large snowflake and sentiment banner are part of the die cuts packet.

Whenever I see antlers during the holiday season, I think of Rudolph. So I added a red enamel dot for the nose with the antlers. A sentiment banner finishes off the card.

I decided to pair up this large piece from the die cuts bag with a few prints  from the My Mind's Eye Christmas on Market Street 6x6 paper pad. The rounded corners give the card a softer look.

Make sure you stop by the Joy Clair Shop to find the deals!!!

I wanted to create a simple card to highlight this fun sentiment. I love the font and wanted it to pop on the card. I used a lamp pole die with red cardstock. And added a gold bow. I used the sparkle/snowflake in the Joyful Wishes set and stamped it in white against the cream color cardstock. It is hard to see in the first photo, so I added a close-up below.

    DCWV- I am Grateful

It is the day before Thanksgiving and who else is taking a break from preparing for tomorrow festivities to look at awesome crafting projects in the blog world? I know that I will be sneaking a few peeks here and there! So let me first say THANK YOU for stopping at the DCWV blog!

Today, I am using the fun DCWV Harvest House 6x6 paper pad to create a card. I love this paper stack so much! So much so, that the stack is almost empty!

And a peek at the inside:

I really like to simple look of this card. The sentiment on the banners is a unique touch to the card. The banners are attached using a twine ribbon and embellished with a large button. The rest of the sentiment is stamped on the inside of the card.

I have to go back to the kitchen and finish preparing some dishes. I cannot wait to eat some homemade stuffing and Apple Crumb Pie. But besides the food, I LOVE watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade! My favorite Thanksgiving tradition! I force my husband to watch that and later he forces me to watch football, so I guess that is an easy trade-off!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day and Happy Thanksgiving!

Pink and Main Baby Bear Card

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! With the holidays around the corner, I am sure that you were expecting a festive project. With all the Fall/Holiday projects I have been making, I needed a break!

My cousin is expecting her first child in the next few days.  So today, I used Pink & Main's Animal Faces, Sweet Faces Set 1, and Little One stamp sets to create a fun baby card.

I used a pretty tan print paper and stamped the bear image. I also stamped the same image on pink paper, to paper-piece the bear's ears. I used some stitched rectangle dies to create the sign. The sentiment is from the Little One stamp set. I used a few different prints to form the layers to the card and attached to the teal card base.

    Joy Clair Snow Fall

Today on the Joy Clair blog, the design team is showcasing the fun Snow Fall stamp set. It is so inspirational to see what different designs the DT comes up with using the same stamp set!

I love CAS style cards. So to no surprise I created a simple creation using the Snow Fall set.

To start this card, I measured out a white mat to be placed on the card base. I knew that I was going to create the space, so I cut the length of the mat one inch shorter. I divided the mat using a snow drift die. I place the two pieces on the card base and used washi tape to mask off the inch area where the opening would be.  I removed the mat and stamped a variety of snowflakes to fill in the space. Once the stamping is done, I removed the tape. I attached the two mat pieces and stamped the sentiment. I did decided to turn the sentiment stamp into two sections.

    Pink & Main Recipe Book

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! With the holidays around the corner, that means baking season is too! I love to bake! And between my family and my husband's family, we have several different holiday cookies that we make every year! It is time to get them organized!

Using the new Pink & Main Baker stamp set, I create a little album to keep the recipes in one place!

I love to paper-piece with stamps! The large images in the Baker set make it very easy to use this technique. I stamped the images on different prints and cut them out. I attached them to create a small counter-top scene. At the bottom, I decided to stamp a couple sentiments from the Baker set. To fill in the empty space at the top, I used Thickers to label 'RECIPES'.  I included a few notecards inside the album.

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Leave a comment at EACH blog along the hop on each day.  Be sure to leave us a way to get in contact with you if you win.
That's all you have to do.  If you would like EXTRA entries, you can also do one or more of the following:
    2.  Like the Pretty Cute Stamps Facebook Page.  Leave me a separate comment on this blog telling me you did. (The separate comment is your extra entry.)
    3.  Sign up for the Pretty Cute Stamps Mailing List and leave a comment on this blog telling me you did.  You'll get occasional emails telling you about new releases, sales, coupon codes, and events. (The separate comment is your extra entry.)

I will randomly choose a winner of the hop candy on Monday, November 16th, 2015.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Your next stop on the Pretty Cute Stamps Hop is the talented Karla's blog.
