Is it a Bag or Is It an Envelope?

Hello, Butterfly Reflection, Ink friends! What better way to start off the new week with a new BRI project!

 

I have always used treat bags for...well, treats! But the idea came  to me to turn it into an envelope for a card.

 

 

I love that the glitter stars add so much texture to a simple treat bag. A simple paper banner is added to the bag to act as a closure. A simple sentiment is stamped on the bottom of the banner.  To finish the envelope, I added a couple different embellishments (the heart and the enamel dots).

Hello, Trendy Twiners! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts!

 Today I am sharing a simple treat packaging that is perfect for all ages!

I love this month's spotlight twine: CELEBRATION! 

The red, yellow, white and black color combo is simply YUMMY!

To keep the packaging simple, I used a variety of die cuts to create the layered center. A simple sentiment is added to the center of the dies. The twine is used as a simple touch to the packaging.

Stars & Stripes Trendy Treat

Happy Trendy Tuesday, Twiners! It's Jessi here from Kissin' Krafts! I hope you have been enjoying this month's spotlight color - Stars & Stripes! I am in love with this twine the color combo is perfect for so many holidays! And of course, the Fourth of July!

Today I am sharing a very simple and easy to make treat bag! Perfect for the upcoming Fourth of July parties/picnics!

It all starts with a canvas treat bag (available HERE in the Trendy Twine Store), needle and Trendy Twine's Stars & Stripes. Stitch a large star on the front of the bag. I thought it looked better with the star off-centered. Once the star is complete, I stitched a large button using Trendy Twine's Totally White. To finish the bag, I stamped a festive tag and tied off with more Stars & Stripes!
