When I first saw this Christmas color combination a few years ago, I was not so sure about it. It was definitely different than the traditional Christmas colors. But over the years, the red, pink and lime green combo is growing on me. Today I am using DCWV and Joy Clair products to create this card.
I actually used the DCWV DIY Project Stack Baby Girl for the papers to make this card. I used fun prints to cover the card base and the panel. The green chevron print is attached to a red cardstock mat. The sentiment is stamped on a printed strip of paper. I used bright, festive holiday chipboard stickers to add texture and dimension to the card.
It’s not a party without a prize - and with prizes every day there are several chances to win! Today’s prize is generously supplied by Blitsy so you’ll definitely want to get your hands on it! Simply leave a comment on this post to enter - then head back to taheerah-atchia.com and leave a comment there too to double your chances! Don’t forget to grab the other surprise destinations from Taheerah’s blog and head over to them to leave comments there as well to improve your odds even more! You have until 7am EST on Thursday 31st December to leave all your comments!
Don’t forget the Advent Calendar Extravaganza runs from 1st-25th December inclusive so make sure you visit taheerah-atchia.com every day for fabulous inspiration and amazing prizes every single time! Merry Christmas!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you had fun with this special blog event!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card! LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteSo funny about the colors, because I used to only like traditional Christmas colors myself, and now I am gravitating towards more untraditional combos like this, or teal, pink, Aqua! I love how you used the color and the chevrons on this card, it is eye catching and retro fun! Thanks for participating in this hop, I am having a blast seeing who is on the other side of the door each day and what they have created.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely non-traditional colors for Christmas, particularly pink, aqua and lavender. Actually, they're probably more retro as I remember seeing aluminum trees in those colors -- so beautiful! And so very expensive now! Thank you for the lovely inspiration!
