Get, Inky! Challenge - Christmas

Are you ready for the next Get, Inky! Challenge? With Christmas only a few weeks away, why not continue to show off your holiday creations! Please stop by the Get, Inky! Challenge blog to see the rules and details.

Here is my Christmas creation using the Get, Inky! Stamps 2013 Holiday Stamp set:

I used the holly stamp from the Holiday stamp set repeatedly along the border. The holly stamp is perfect to color in with markers. I love to practice my coloring skills. I am still a beginner, but I think it is getting easier. To highlight the holly, a small red sequin to the center of each one.

To finish the card, I added a simple sentiment. The sentiment is colored in with a variety yellows.

Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to see the latest challenge and details over on the Get, Inky! Challenge.

Hello everyone! You should be arriving from Beth's blog!

Today I am sharing this fun card with you:

As soon as I saw the Buzzing Bee set, I knew I need to create a beehive for the card front. So when this REPEAT blog hop came to light, I knew this was the right project for that! So to start off, I took one of the small bees and stamped the image several times. I created the beehive and used a oval diecut to cut the opening of the hive. The beehive is attached using foam dots. The large bee image is colored and cut. The bee is tucked into the opening to look as it is appearing out. The smaller bees are glued on to the card front. The sentiment and banner are added to finalize the card.

And of course we have blog candy! To be eligible to win, you must:

CAS with Get, Inky! Stamps

Hello, Get, Inky! fans! It's Jessi here from Kissin' Krafts. Today I am super excited to share a card I made using the Sew Sweet Cupcakes and Buzzing Bees stamp sets.

As you may know, the current challenge over on the Get, Inky! Challenge blog is Flowers. So I created this very simple card that would be perfect for birthdays or even for Mother's Day!

To create the stems of the flowers, I used the cupcake wrapper ribbon stamp (from the Sew Sweet Cupcakes) and taped off one side during the inking process. When I was ready to stamp, I simple removed the tape and stamped the image.

I really  love the flowers the stamps create when you use the back of the flower stamps in the Sew Sweet Cupcakes stamp set. Once I stamp the flower backing, I used the dot stamp to create the center of the flowers. Last, I used the outline flower stamp to highlight the flowers a little more.

The simple sentiment is from the Buzzing Bees stamp set. To add dimension to the card, I added the sentiment on foam dots, to make it pop off the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you all will hop on over to the Get, Inky! Challenge blog and share your flower creation!

Get, Inky's Newest Challenge - Flowers!

Today starts a new challenge over on the Get, Inky! Challenge blog! And you are going to love it!!!! The theme --- FLOWERS! Who doesn't love crafting with flowers? I imagine there will be a lot of fun entries!

Here is my Flower creation using Get, Inky! Stamps' Sew Sweet Cupcakes stamp set:

I used the cupcake ribbon stamp to form the stems and the heart to form the leaves. To create the flowers, I used the BACK of the two flower stamps. (Stamping in different colors to form the different layers of the flower. To highlight the flower, I stamped the smaller outline flower in the center.)  A simple sentiment is added at the bottom of the embossed backing.

We can wait to see your flower creations! Please join us on the Get, Inky! Challenge blog! You can see more Get, Inky! inspiration on the Get, Inky! Stamps Blog and the Get, Inky! Stamps Facebook page!

I am a proud member of the design team for Get, Inky! Stamps! Their first release will happen soon! Until then, you can visit Blue Moon Creations to see their digis and their new clear stamp sets!

Here is a little about me:

My name is Jessica Pascarella from Pearland, Texas, USA. I have been addicted to paper-crafts for 10 years. My main love is card-making. But have started to expand into scrapbooking and altered items. My style is mainly Clean and Simple (CAS), but I love to challenge myself to try new styles as well as new techniques. My favorite stamping technique is paper-piecing. My main loves (outside of crafting) are spending quality time with my kiddos and husband, traveling and watching movies. I am excited to join the Get, Inky! Stamps design team and look forward to sharing my creations with you! Feel free to stop by to see my latest creations: Kissin' Krafts.

I created this CAS card using Get, Inky! Sew Sweet Cupcakes:
