Guest designing at Sweet Stamp Shop

Happy Good Friday all! And it is indeed "GOOD" for multiple reasons!

Today, I am excited to be a guest designer for Sweet Stamp Shop's March release! I have a few projects to share with you today!

The first one up is the one that was shown earlier this month, using Sweet Stamp Shop's new Calendar stamp set:

When I first saw this stamp set, I had a few projects pop into my head! The first one was to make a desk calendar that can be easily switched month to month. (Sorry for my not-so-pretty handwriting! If you have small number stamps, that would work perfect with this calendar stamp.)

Project number two with Sweet Stamp Shop's Calendar set was to make a dry erase To-Do board/frame. I went to the dollar store and picked out a simple black frame. I created a 5x7 layout using Sweet Stamp Shop's  Calendar set and Warm Notes.

I used the Sweet Stamp Shop's Warm Notes on the following card as well. I used the fern stamp and stamped the image upright and them stamped upside down to create the card's design. The burlap background stamp is used along with the sentiment.

I love the dial from Sweet Stamp Shop's Let's Chat stamp set. I wanted to make it the focal part of this card. Using the cord stamp, I stamped the image twice to create the background of the card.

The dial stamp is attached using foam squares to and dimension to the card.

The memo stamp from the  Let's Chat set is a perfect way to personalize a card! You can fill in the blank and send it on to that special someone. It is sure to brighten their day!

The last card of the day using Sweet Stamp Shop's View Finder stamp set. (Also, used a hint of this set on the previous card---the arrow.) I have been seeing black card around the blogger world and decided to give it a try!

Thank you for stopping by today! I have had an exciting time being one of the guest designers for Sweet Stamp Shop! It has been a fun month!

Be sure to stop by and show them some love!

Exciting news!! Get, Inky! Stamps

Happy Thursday all! I am excited to share some crafty news with you today!

I am a proud member of the design team for Get, Inky! Stamps! Their first release will happen soon! Until then, you can visit Blue Moon Creations to see their digis and their new clear stamp sets!

Here is a little about me:

My name is Jessica Pascarella from Pearland, Texas, USA. I have been addicted to paper-crafts for 10 years. My main love is card-making. But have started to expand into scrapbooking and altered items. My style is mainly Clean and Simple (CAS), but I love to challenge myself to try new styles as well as new techniques. My favorite stamping technique is paper-piecing. My main loves (outside of crafting) are spending quality time with my kiddos and husband, traveling and watching movies. I am excited to join the Get, Inky! Stamps design team and look forward to sharing my creations with you! Feel free to stop by to see my latest creations: Kissin' Krafts.

I created this CAS card using Get, Inky! Sew Sweet Cupcakes:

I used puffy paint to create the frosting on the cupcake!

Visible Image Friendly Patchwork

Happy Tuesday all! It is my day for Visible Image and I am excited to show you my latest creation!

Today I used the sentiment for the The Sewing Room Stamp Set:

As soon as I saw the word 'patchwork' in the saying, I knew that I wanted to create a quilt-like card. I did not want to do a normal square-patch, so I decided to bring out the hexagon diecut and started to cut out the colorful pieces.

Once the pieces were glued together, I attached the quilt to the back layer. The last stop was to attach the sentiment with the button and twine add-on.

Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the wide selection of stamps available over at Visible Image.

Circles of Love for Lily Bee!

Happy Tuesday! I am excited to  share this card with you! I just finished it this morning and could not wait to share.

I love the Double Dutch Collection from Lily Bee Design and Spellbinders Circle Die-cuts:

I felt that the card needed some dimension, so I used foam dots on a few of the circles to make them POP off the card!

The sentiment is made using Lily Bee Alpha Stickers and a stamp from Stampendous. To finish the card, I added a couple brads and wrapped Trendy Twine around the bottom of the card.

Thank you for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Seeing Red marks the spot!

Hello, Trendy Twiners! It is a fabulous Tuesday in the middle of a HOT summer. What is better than laying out by the pool with a thriller book in hand? Well, crafting with Trendy Twine of course!

Continuing with this month's spotlight color - Berry Red, I made this cute bookmark. The bright red catches your eye from across of the room!

It is so easy to make a tassel bookmark. It really is up to you! You can cut the bookmark to any size you desire. Decorate CAS style or go all out!  The finishing touch is the twine tassel!  If you are unsure of how to make a tassel,  search the web for instructions and...

Voila, you have a creative masterpiece to pair with your nail-biting novel!

Berry Red can be used with so many designer papers. It allows the red to POP on any project!

Thank you for stopping by Trendy Twine today! Don't forget join us for our monthly challenge! Check HERE for details! There is an awesome Extreme Mini Pack up for grabs!

Have a Terrific Trendy Tuesday Twiners!

Lily Bee "Joy" Frame

So I have decided to take a small break from cardmaking (but will be back sooon)! My latest craze has been altered items. I cannot wait to show you the projects that I have been working on. But until then, I will show you this one:

Who doesn't love the $1.00 wood frames from Michael's? I have an entire collection that was begging to be altered!  I used the Lily Bee Design Double Dutch collection on this frame. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bright, bold summer colors in this collection!

Once the frame was painted and covered with paper, I stamped the flower stamp twice. One image was cut-out as a whole flower. The "inside" of the other image was cut-out to add dimension to the flower. After attaching the flowers, I added a bunch of orange brads to form the center of the flower.

I thought about stopping there, but felt the top of the frame needed something. After thinking about it for over a day, I decided to create the banner using Spellbinders Scallop Circles. The diecuts were folded in half and strung them across twine.  The banner needed something else, so I added the letters J-O-Y, using Lily Bee Design Alpha Stickers and punching out circles.

Hope you all have a great weekend! What are your plans? I am painting the guest room, cannot wait!

Happy Wednesday All!

So is February going fast for ya'll too!?!?  I cannot believe that it is Wednesday again!  So who is ready for another challenge from the Perfect Sentiment?

This week's challenge is to make a Get Well card using the sketch provided below.  Cannot wait to see your creations!

This week's sponsor is Pattie's Creations. The lucky winner from this week will win one digi of their choosing!  How great is that?

So here is the sketch to inspire you on your "Get Well" card:

022212 GetWell Sketch
Here is my take:

Supplies:
Recollection Cardstock
Lily Bee Designs Patterned Papers
Michael's Ribbon
Studio G Stamp
Misc. Brad

I bought this ribbon awhile ago from those $1.00 bins at Michaels. I never really knew what I would do with it, but FINALLY this flower idea popped into my head!  I see everyone making beautiful ribbon flowers, but I never really have much luck.  I was pleasantly happy to see that this was wired ribbon, making it much easier for me :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday! I am hoping things slow done soon, so I can get some crafting done!  Cannot wait to see what you come up with. If you need more inspiration, please visit the rest of the Perfect Sentiment Team members!
