Joy Clair's Mother's Day Hop

Today, the Joy Clair design team is highlighting the super adorable Mother's Day stamp set! It is full of super cute puns and funny images. A perfect stamp set to make the perfect card for the mother with a great sense of humor! So glad that my mother is one of them!

Here is a closer look of the Mother's Day stamp set:

One today's card, I wanted to make a "split personality" card. Serious on the front, party on the inside!

From the Mother's Day stamp set, I used the SH!# image stamp for the inside sentiment of the card. The image is colored in with a brown pen. A white gel pen is used to make the teeth and eyes REALLY pop!

I used the new Spring Time Flowers stamp set to create the front of the card. The floral image is stamped and embossed in white. I used a blending tool to add the ombre look with a pretty pink distress ink. The sentiment, from the Hello Sentiments stamp set, is stamped in gray ink.

Happy Mother's Day - Avery Elle

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! It seems a little early to be making a Mother's Day card, but did you know that the UK equivalent is later this month on March 26th?

Today's card using the new Avery Elle's Mother's Day stamp set, paired up with some Touch Markers:

I used the word stamp to create the background for the card. The stamp is stamped in black ink at an angle, repeatedly. The floral image is stamped and colored in. The matching die, for the Mother's Day stamp set, is used to cut out the floral image. The floral image is then attached with foam tape. To add a little more detail to the card, I glued on a few clear droplets.

This is my first project using the Touch markers. The colors are so vibrate. I cannot wait to get my hands onto more colors very soon! Check out the colors available in the MarkerPOP store, HERE.

Happy Mother's Day with Pink & Main!

First of all, let's start off with saying Happy Mother's Day to all the awesome mothers out there!

To help celebrate this special day, I gathered up a few Pink & Main stamp sets (some from the upcoming May release) to create this fun card.

 I started off with the 'TO DO' stamp from the Planner Tabs stamp set. The rest of the background used a variety of icons(from the new More Life Icons set) to make it look like a list of tasks that moms usually complete.  The main focus is of the SuperMOM image from the Super Mom stamp set. The simple sentiment is also from the Super Mom stamp set. 

 

I had so much from creating this card!
