Bible Journaling w/ The Greeting Farm

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts!
I am excited to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog, today!

I have joined the Bible Journaling community a few months ago. So when I saw that BRI carried the faith-based stamp sets from The Greeting Farm, I knew I had to get to work! For today's page, I choose the adorable Trust in the Lord stamp set

I stamped the angel image in the center of the column. The image is colored in using Neocolors and ZIG Clean Color markers. The phrases were stamped in black ink. The inside of the 'Lord' image is also colored in with Neocolors. I used a variety of blues and greens to create the scene around the angel. Water was used to blend the colors together.

If you would like to see the Trust in the Lord stamp set and the other The Greeting Farm sets, check out this SECTION in the BRI store.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Poppy Stamps Delivery Card

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts! I am excited to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog, today! If I planned ahead better, I might have had a plan to do a leap year card, but I didn't. But I hope you all enjoy the extra day!

First of all, let's talk about all the different goodies that are available in Butterfly Reflections, Ink store. So many new brands and new lines coming out. Be sure to check out the NEW PRODUCT section in the store.  One new brand to me is Poppy Stamps, which I will be using on today's card!

I knew that I wanted to make a scene card with the Poppy Stamps Mail Delivery stamp set and coordinating dies. However, I wanted to add some dimension to the card. Today's card, I tried something different for me. I made the scene with a frame popped up around the picture.

The first step was to gather up a variety of papers to create the scene with. I grabbed the American Crafts Shimelle 6x6 paper pad to supply the prints. I cut the yellow print the same measurement of an A2 card. Using the Dienamics Double Stitched Rectangle Dies, I formed a frame with the yellow print. I used foam tape to attach the frame to the front of the card.  I used the same die to cut the sky and grass parts of the scene.

I used a lot of the images from the Mail Delivery stamp set and used the coordinating dies. The images were colored in with a variety of markers. The diecuts are attached to the scene. The bunny image is attached with a piece of foam tape.

I am in love with Poppy Stamps! I added a few more sets to my collection and cannot wait to use them! Be sure to check out the Poppy Stamps section in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store!

Trio My Mind's Eye Holiday Cards

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts! I am excited to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog, today!

First of all, let's talk about the current sale going on right now over in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store...

You can check out the deals, HERE!

Now on to my project...

I don't know about you, but I love to send out Holiday cards to family and friends. However, with our hectic schedules, it makes it hard to find time to create all those cards.  So I am in love with using collections that include a variety of embellishments that match the paper. Today, I made these 3 cards in a matter of minutes.

These cards are made using the My Mind's Eye Christmas on Market Street collection. I used the 6x6 paper pad, flair buttons, and die cuts embellishments.

I love how the flair provides a pop of color on this festive white and gold card. The large snowflake and sentiment banner are part of the die cuts packet.

Whenever I see antlers during the holiday season, I think of Rudolph. So I added a red enamel dot for the nose with the antlers. A sentiment banner finishes off the card.

I decided to pair up this large piece from the die cuts bag with a few prints  from the My Mind's Eye Christmas on Market Street 6x6 paper pad. The rounded corners give the card a softer look.

The stamp set is the Avery Elle's Home Sweet Home.(Currently on sale!!!) The tee-pee is paper-pieced with a variety of prints. To match the sentiment, I added a few stamped hearts.

It's Your Time to Soar

Hello, Butterfly Reflections friends! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts and I am glad to be back to share with you a fun and fresh card. Reflection

Who else is ready to put winter behind them? I am ready to start crafting with fun and fresh prints!

Today's card, I am using a few supplies I bought from the Butterfly Reflections store lately!

I knew I wanted to use this fun sentiment from Avery Elle's Look Up stamp set.  My first thought was to use cloud print paper and maybe add a kite. As I was searching for the right paper, I came across the paper airplane print from AC Day Dreamer 6x6 paper pad.  The rest of the prints came from the same paper pad. (Who doesn't love paper pads? They make it so easy to coordinate papers!!!)

Once I attached the papers, I added a small white wooden clothespin to the card. However, it needed something else. I started messing with adding string to the project, but simply could not decide how to make it work. So after several attempts, I decided rely on my go-to add-on, enamel dots.

Thank you for stopping by today! Check out Butterfly Reflections for the latest product! Their selection is full of amazing possibilities!

CAS Watercolor card

Hello, Butterfly Reflections, Ink friends! I am excited to be filling in today on the BRI blog!

Today's project is showcasing some of the exclusive stamps from Butterfly Reflections, Ink! For my project, I used the Over the Rainbow stamp set.

So I found some pearlescent watercolors and fell in love with the additional sparkle it added to the projects! I was dying to use one to make a night sky. To start, I stamped the images and embossed them as well. Once the embossing had time to dry, I painted the night with silver metallic paint. I thought the card needed a little something extra, so I stamped the red heart.

What a very simple and so so easy to create!

Lawn Fawn Cuteness

Today, I am sharing a fun project using some fun Lawn Fawn cuteness! When I first saw the Milk and Cookies stamp set, I knew it was a MUST-HAVE! But in all honesty, what Lawn Fawn isn't a MUST-HAVE?

The milk and cookie jar image are just shouting to be colored. So I broke out the colored pencils and began the process!  The plate, cookies, and milk glass were stamped on cardstock or paper and cut out. I wanted to make it look like the items were placed on a table, so the kraft cardstock is embossed with a woodgrain embossing folder. The sentiment is added to a speech bubble, created by the Lawn Fawn Speech Bubble Border die.

Thank You Butterfly Reflections, Ink!

Today is my last post for the Butterfly Reflections, Ink Design Team! Where has the time gone! Boy, did that go by fast!

One of my favorite things from the BRI shop has to be the awesome exclusive stamps that were released! They are still available, HERE!

Here is the card I created using the Over the Rainbow set:

To create the rainbow, I stamped the words in black. Then I stamped the remainder of the rainbow in a variety of colors. To create this look, I taped the sections of the image I did not want to color. Once the ink is applied, I would recover the tape and stamp the image.  To add some texture to the card, I added a couple cloud diecuts.

'Hello' Fancy Pants...

Hello, Butterfly Reflection, Ink friends! Today is an awesome day! First of all, I have a fun project to share with you! But most of all...today is Release Day for the new Lawn Fawn products everyone is drooling over! And guess what? They are available NOW in the BRI store! Check out the amazing selection!

So on to my project...

Let me confess... I am falling in love with the premade embellishments for cards/layouts! I have been turning to them lately when I need to make a card in a flash! Have you seen those latest card challenges, 10 minutes or less? I would never had been able to complete this challenge if I had to create every piece by hand! But these premade pieces make it doable!

Here is the card I created with the premade embellishments matching the Fancy Pant's Burlap & Bouquets Collection:

To make the card stand out, I decided to create a shaped card versus a regular card. The front is covered with 2 different patterned paper. I love the simple 'HELLO' sentiment, but decided to add 'my friend' by stamping it below the embellishment. The feathers are a wonderful addition! I love how the large one hangs over the top of the card. The card needed a little more texture, so I added a couple enamel dots on the top corner of the card!

There are many things I love about Butterfly Reflections, Ink! One thing is that they carry a variety of products from a single paper collection. Making it so easy to shop in one location!

Check out the supplies I used available in the BRI store:

Fancy Pants - Burlap & Bouquets Paper Pad and Ephemera
Avery Elle -  Red & Goldie Clear Stamp Set

New stamps and Watercolor

Have you seen the new EXCLUSIVE Butterfly Reflections, Ink stamps? They are simply darling and I could not wait to create with them! The ideas keep coming, so I needed to get started!

One of the things I love, is that both sets go together like peanut butter and jelly!  Here is my creation using some watercolor:

To allow the colors to 'POP', I stamped the images and then embossed them with either clear or white embossing powder.

Stop by the Butterfly Reflections, Ink to check out the selection of embossing powders and other tools!

My Mind's Eye at Butterfly Reflections, Ink!

Today I am excited to share my latest card created for my Butterfly Reflections, Ink design team assignment! I think it is easy to state that My Mind's Eye is my favorite paper company! It seems like I am always drawn to their collections! So I was super excited to come across the My Mind's Eye section in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink's store! You can check out the section  HERE.

The collection I used on the card below is My Mind's Eye's Now & Then "Mildred":

Now, as I stated last week, I am addicted to 6x6 paper pads! (Don't forget to check out the PAPER section in the store! There is an amazing selection available!) Any who... One of the reasons I like the paper pads is because it usually includes a pattern that can be fussy-cut. Such as the print pictured below. I decided to cut out a few of the flowers to use on this card. Not knowing exactly what I was going to do, I cut out a number of different flowers/leaves.

I tried several different floral arrangements and once I decided on the final placement, I used a foam dot on one of the flowers to add dimension to the card.

I usually an one to stamp a sentiment onto the card. However, I love the word/alpha stickers that were made for this collection. Instead of simply putting the sentiment sticker on the card, I decided to add a punch of additional color by placing a matching cardstock sticker from the same collection.

I would love to hear what your favorite My Mind's Eye collection is? I don't think I could narrow it down to one! And have you seen the newest released collections they have just released? Super pretty! And guess what? They are currently on their way to the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store! Keep on eye out on the 'Newest Product' section of the store!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
