More than meets the eye!

Hello, Butterfly Reflections, Ink friends! Today I am showing how versatile crafting products can be! Vanessa sent me some fun Simple Stories SN@P product and I have to admit, I was stumped. I am mainly a card-maker. I have created a few scrapbook layouts, but have NO experience with mini albums or similar projects.

So I started off with staring at the Simple Stories's I Heart Summer Pages trying decide if I should tackle the albums or try something different. After a few days, I decided that the individual pages would make a great addition to a layout.

**Sorry about not including a picture. I am indecisive when it comes to making a scrapbook page. It normally takes me a handful of days to finish one from start to finish. I am a beginner when it comes to this craft. So needless to say, it will probably take me a few more days to pick what picture I want to use.

I used two of the summer pages on the layout. To make the die cutout cloud POP, I used a section of another page from the package. To finish the layout I used additional stickers and paper that matched the Simple Stories I Heart Summer Collection.

One awesome thing about Butterfly Reflections, Ink is that you have access to multiple pieces from the same collection.  (In the shop, you can shop by brand and sort by name. this places the same collection pieces to be displayed together.)

Thank you for stopping by today!

My Mind's Eye at Butterfly Reflections, Ink!

Today I am excited to share my latest card created for my Butterfly Reflections, Ink design team assignment! I think it is easy to state that My Mind's Eye is my favorite paper company! It seems like I am always drawn to their collections! So I was super excited to come across the My Mind's Eye section in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink's store! You can check out the section  HERE.

The collection I used on the card below is My Mind's Eye's Now & Then "Mildred":

Now, as I stated last week, I am addicted to 6x6 paper pads! (Don't forget to check out the PAPER section in the store! There is an amazing selection available!) Any who... One of the reasons I like the paper pads is because it usually includes a pattern that can be fussy-cut. Such as the print pictured below. I decided to cut out a few of the flowers to use on this card. Not knowing exactly what I was going to do, I cut out a number of different flowers/leaves.

I tried several different floral arrangements and once I decided on the final placement, I used a foam dot on one of the flowers to add dimension to the card.

I usually an one to stamp a sentiment onto the card. However, I love the word/alpha stickers that were made for this collection. Instead of simply putting the sentiment sticker on the card, I decided to add a punch of additional color by placing a matching cardstock sticker from the same collection.

I would love to hear what your favorite My Mind's Eye collection is? I don't think I could narrow it down to one! And have you seen the newest released collections they have just released? Super pretty! And guess what? They are currently on their way to the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store! Keep on eye out on the 'Newest Product' section of the store!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hello, Butterfly!

Happy Tuesday everyone! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts! I cannot wait to share my latest Butterfly Reflections, Ink project with you!

One of the things I love about Butterfly Reflections, Ink, is their selection of 6x6 paper pads! I am truly addicted and there is always something I am craving in the store!

I am a fan of pretty much all the American Crafts companies (American Crafts, Pebbles, Studio Calico, Crate Papers, etc). I LOVE the fact that you can combine pieces from collections by the different companies. In the project below, the paper is Crate Paper and the woven ribbon and butterfly die are from Studio Calico! And look...they match PERFECTLY!!!

I love using wooden veneers on my projects! There are so many things you can do with them! I decided to color the front to match the papers. Once the markers dried, I stamped a simple sentiment with brown ink.

You can easily add texture to the simplest of cards bu using a variety of materials. The mixture of the ribbon, twine and wood add so much to this card!

Here is a quick look of the supplies used for this card:

Supplies from Butterfly Reflections, Ink:

Exciting News!!!

Hello, Butterfly Reflections, Ink friends! This is Jessi Pascarella from Kissin' Krafts! I am so excited to be a part of this fun design team and look forward to meet new friends along the way! Let me give you a quick bio about me and then on to showing you my first BRI project!

I live in Texas with my lovely husband of 10 years and am a stay at home mom of 3 kiddos. Two boys, 8 & 6, and one daughter, 4. I have been paper-crafting for over a decade now. Mostly cards, but love to try altered projects and a few layouts. My style tends to be CAS, but I do try to challenge myself with different styles and techniques.

For my first project, I decided to create a fun card to say 'HELLO' to my new BRI friends. The ideas started to flow once I got this Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad in my hands.

I started off with creating the scene from this fun Avery Elle stamps, stamped onto watercolor paper. Now I have to admit, this was my first time painting a scene...and I think I am ADDICTED! I used a watercolor brush (detailer), such as this one in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store. This brush made it super easy to paint in the scene and change colors with out changing brushes!

This Echo Park Photo Card Die was used with some fun Lawn Fawn papers to spotlight the watercolor scene. A simple sentiment is stamped at the bottom of the die. A metal 'HELLO' trinkets is added to complete the sentiment. The final step was to piece the card together.

Supplies from Butterfly Reflections, Ink:
Lawn Fawn - Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad
Avery Elle - Red & Goldie
Echo Park - Designer Dies Photo Card, Heart & Create
Maya Road - Vintage Metal Trinkets Hellos

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you will stop by Butterfly Reflections, Ink and check out the variety of craft products they offer!
