Let's Hang Out

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! It is Jessi here, today. Last week, I mentioned that Neat & Tangled is one of my favorite stamp companies. So I decided to break out some of their stamps and make a fun card for today's post. Please stop by the Neat & Tangled section in the MarkerPOP store.

I am working with the Better Together stamp set:

I used the no-line technique on this card. To start, I stamped the image in a light colored ink. I used a variety of Zig Clean Color Brush Markers to color in the image. To make sure the colors do not run into each other, I painted different areas and let them dry completely. Once the image is dried, I run over the outlines with a the matching color.

I used a green to color in the grass. Once that was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment to finish the scene. The panel is attached to a few different prints to layer the card.

Please stop by the MarkerPOP blog to see the supplies used on today's card.

Don't forget to comment for your chance to win a $10 MarkerPOP gift card. The more posts you comment on, the higher chances to win!

Thank you for stopping by!

Welcome, MarkerPOP friends! Did you know that the CHA-Creativation is currently being held in Arizona? CHA is held once a year and it is a trade show for craft companies of all genres to show off their latest products. I was lucky enough to be able to attend the show last year and left with so much inspiration! I am looking forward to seeing what comes from this year's show!

There is a CHA 2017 section in the MarkerPOP store. This is the place to go to see some of the products being shown at the show and are making their way to the store. We thought it would be fun to show you some of the favorites we believe would be awesome to work with!

First up, see MarkerPOP is all about coloring mediums, let's start with
Look at these adorable colors! So soft and perfect for the upcoming Spring and Easter Projects. I love working with these crayons! Especially with my Bible Journaling.

Poppies are my favorite flowers! So why would I not add these to my collection! And I love when the companies take the work out of trying to pair up inks! These mini sets are paired perfectly to complete a project!

I have a little girl, so this stamp set will be perfect for scrapbook layouts for Halloween, birthday invitations, or even making a scene for her to color in!

4. Stampendous - Campground Clear Stamps

I cannot explain why, but I love images of cute campers! I have never been in one, but think it would be so much fun to travel in one! This stamp set would be perfect for upcoming campouts with the family!

5. Neat & Tangled - My Favorite Nut Clear Stamp set

Neat & Tangled has been one of my favorite stamp companies for a long time. The quality of their stamps are easy to work with and a snap to clean. Their images are so fun and versatile!

Little Stinker

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! It is Jessi here for a second post this week. Christmas is right around the corner, but is it too soon to have Valentine's Day on the mind? Who do you send Valentine's Day cards to? That special someone? Family? Friends?

Today, I am showcasing a CAS card using an adorable Neat & Tangled stamp set, Little Stinker:

The skunk image is stamped and colored in. The coordinating die is used to cut out the image. The coordinating die set also includes a tiny heart die. I used the die to cut out three hearts. I attached a red piece of cardstock underneath the white cardstock. The panel is then attached to the card front. A fun stripe print is added at the bottom of the panel. The skunk is attached and a sentiment is stamped above the printed paper.

To add some more detail to the card, I used a Wink of Stella pen to add glitter touches to the hearts on the card.

Please stop by the MarkerPOP blog for the list of supplies used on today's project!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Donut Birthday - Neat & Tangled

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! Have you ever had donuts instead of cake for your birthday? I haven't! But I think I need to change that on my next birthday. All these pictures of donut cakes are making me want one!

Today, I am working with the Neat & Tangled's Say Yes to Donut stamp set. I paired up the stamps with the Simple Stories So Fancy 6x6 paper pad:

The donut image is stamped onto white cardstock. The image is colored in with a variety of Chameleon markers. The image is cut out using a stitched circle die. I used a couple of different prints from the paper pad to finish the card. The floral print is used to cover the front of the card. The purple print is cut with a stitched rectangle die. The sentiment is stamped onto a yellow print and attached to towards the bottom part of the purple. The circle die is attached towards the top.

The stamped image is stamped in black ink. This made the sprinkles black. I covered the black part with a white gel pen to turn the sprinkles to white.

Please stop by the MarkerPOP blog for the list of markers and supplies I used to create this card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you have a great one!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello there, today I have the pleasure of participating in Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. Today is sponsored by Neat and Tangled and the team have to together to share some tags with you.
I used a Spellbinders tag die to start of my tag. I used Neat and Tangled's Little Santa Girl stamp set to create the design.

I colored the adorable girl image with a variety of markers. The image and banner are cut out and added to the tag. A simple twine string is added to the tag. A very simple and cute tag to add to that special gift.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy today's tags!

Little Tangles Challenge - Thankful

Happy Thursday, everyone!
Today starts a new Little Tangles Challenge and it is about giving thanks!

I used the Neat and Tangled's All My Heart and Simple Christmas stamp sets to create this card.

To create this card, I covered the card base with the floral print. I used a rectangle die to create the panel, the sentiment will be stamped on. I stamped the wreath in a gray ink and stamped the sentiment in the middle with pink ink. The sentiment panel is attached to a wood print mat and then attached with foam dots. At first, this was going to complete the card, but I felt the card needed something else. I added 3 pale pink enamel dots to the add.

I hope you stop by the Little Tangles blog to see more of the design team projects.

You Were Born to Sparkle

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! Did you see the new September release! Michelle has created some adorable sets and some also have coordinating dies! I cannot put them down! The ideas just keep on coming!

Today,  I am working with the new Pink & Main's Believe Script stamp set. This set is full of beautiful sentiments that are sure to light up someone's day!

When I saw this sentiment, I knew that I wanted to pair it up with some glitter paper. I used a fancy shaped die to create the shaped card base. I wanted to stamp the sentiment onto glitter cardstock. I was unsure if the ink was going to transfer well. I am super pleased with how it turned out! Using a circle die, I cut out the sentiment and added it to the card. To add some additional sparkle, I glued on a couple sequins to the card.

Have you heard that Pink & Main is currently holding their first challenge! It is 'Anything Goes' and there are some awesome prizes up for grabs! The first place winner gets $50 Pink & Main gift card and the second place will win a $25 gift card. I hope you stop by the Pink & Main blog to find out the details!

Little Tangles - Mint and Gold Color Combo

Happy Thursday, everyone!
Today starts a new Little Tangles Challenge and  it focuses on a fun color combo!

I am in love with the Neat & Tangled's Hoop Die and wanted to make it the focus on this card:

The background is a pretty mint print from the DCWV Happy Day stack. I used a DCWV Embossed foil paper for the Hoop Die. I also used the Hoop Die to cut out the 'Love' print. The two pieces using the hoop die and attached using the popular 'inlaid' technique. A simple sentiment from the Neat & Tangled's Scandinavian Flowers stamp set.

Little Tangles Challenge - Birthday

Happy Thursday, everyone!
Today starts a new Little Tangles Challenge and it is all about Birthdays!

I am using pieces from a few different Neat and Tanglesd stamp sets to create this card.

A simple sentiment is stamped in the center of watercolor paper. The sentiment is masked using a piece of tape. The floral images are stamped around the tape with a variety of distress ink colors. I give the ink a few seconds to dry. A dab some water on the tip of a paint brush and spread the color around the individually stamped image. Once the paint is dry, remove the tape. Attach panel to patterned paper and glue to the front of the A2 cardbase.

Little Tangles Challenge - Sketch

Hi! It's time to announce a new challenge today...
We are excited to be teaming up with Leslie Hanna and her sketch challenge for this one. Here's the sketch that Leslie created for the challenge...

Here is my card using the Neat and Tangled Send Pretty Mail and Everyone Circles stamp sets.

I am determined to improve my watercoloring skills. So I decided to use the flowers from the Send Pretty Mail stamp set to create two of the circles. The 'HELLO" circle stamp from the Everyday Circles stamp set was perfect for this sketch. I decided to leave the 'white space' on the card empty versus adding an additional sentiment.

Neat and Tangled (Little Tangles) Showcase

I am excited to be showcased on the Neat and Tangled blog today!  To see the feature or to learn more about Neat and Tangled, please visit HERE!

About Me:

Hello, Neat and Tangled friends! My name is Jessica Pascarella and I live in Pearland, TX.  I have been a part of the Little Tangles design team since January 2014.  I have been in love with papercrafting for over 10 years. It all started when I took on the task on making my wedding invitations. I am mainly a cardmaker, but venture into scrapbooking and altered items. My style is mainly CAS, but I like to challenge myself with different styles and techniques. Please visit my blog, Kissin' Krafts to see more of my creations.

On a personal note, I am married to my awesome husband, Michael. We have three, equally as awesome, children (2 boys and 1 girl). We love to travel and play board games!

My Work:

Here are a few of my cards using some of my favorite Neat and Tangled stamps:

Little Tangles Challenge - Clean and Simple (CAS)

Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week and finding some time to create something wonderful!

Today starts a new challenge over on the Little Tangles challenge.
It is my favorite style CAS (Clean and Simple)!

Here is my card using the Neat & Tangled Giving Tree stamp set:

This CAS card was super easy to make. I used a couple of the branch stamps included in the Giving Tree stamp set. I colored in the branches and stamped the owl image. Colored the owl and added the sentiment. Voila, finished!

Little Tangles - Sequins

Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week and finding some time to create something wonderful!

Today starts a new challenge over on the Little Tangles challenge.
And it is all about SEQUINS!!!

Here is my card using the Neat & Tangled Crafting is My Jam stamp set:

This CAS card was super easy to make. I knew I wanted to use a jar die because of the word 'jam' in the sentiment. I filled the jar with sequins. And tied it off with some Trendy Twine.  The patterned paper was made to look like it had a few crafting messes on it. (Ink smudges and paint drops.)

Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week and finding some time to create something wonderful!

Today starts a new challenge over on the Little Tangles challenge.
And Anything Goes!

Here is my card using the Neat & Tangled's Everyday Circles stamp set:

This card is super simple to create! Use two different patterned papers to create the lays. Stamp the 'HAPPY' circle onto to light green cardstock and cut out (I used a circle punch). To finish the sentiment, a pendant die is used on a patterned paper and stamped with 'birthday'. The card is pieced together and finished!

Little Tangles Challenge - Watercolors

Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week and finding some time to create something wonderful!

Today starts a new challenge over on the Little Tangles challenge. And it is all about watercolors!

Here is my card using the Neat & Tangled Kindness Matters stamp set:

I am always inspired with the watercolor cards I have been seeing in the blog world. However, I find it very hard to create such beauties! After several attempts, I finally brought out some stencils to see if it will help me along the way!

I traced the circles with watercolor pencils. Once all the circles were done, I used water to spread the color some. Once the paint was dry, the sentiment was stamped and the card was finished!

First Little Tangles Challenge of 2015 - HELLO

Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week and finding some time to create something wonderful!

Welcome to the first Little Tangles challenge of 2015! And doesn't it seem fitting as we say 'HELLO' to a new year, that are challenge should be 'HELLO'?

Before I show my card for this challenge...

To give you more time to participate in the Little Tangles challenge, there will be one challenge per month. Instead of the two we did monthly last year.

Here is my card using the Neat & Tangled My Heart Sings stamp set:

This shape card is created using a large fancy shape die. I wanted to say HELLO to the new year, sticking with my normal style, CAS. To keep up the CAS feel, I used a fun print at the bottom of the card. A word die is used to start the sentiment. The rest of the sentiment comes from the Neat & Tangled My Heart Sings set. I felt the card was a little too CAS (is that even possible?), so a stamped some tiny hearts from the same set. To accent the hearts, I covered them with glossy accents.
