RAWR, I Love You!

As I was going through the paper aisle at JoAnn's, I came across a DCWV 6X6 stack tucked away on the bottom shelf. When I saw that it was dinosaurs, I had to get it! My oldest son LOVES dinosaurs, so I knew I would get use out of this stack!

Using The Kidosaurus Stack and The Alley Way's Living Fossil stamp set, I made this card:

This was a very simple card to make. I stamped the dinosaur image onto two different prints and paper-pieced them together to form the dinosaur. To finish the dinosaur, I added googly eyes. I formed the background with a simple dinosaur footprints.  Also, the stack includes some printed sentiments. I cut one out and created a 'wood' sign.

You're a Good Egg

It has been a lazy Saturday around the house, so I managed to sit down at my craft table and play along with the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge.

I recently bought a few Paper Smooches stamp sets from JoAnn's. When I saw the current sketch challenge, an idea came to mind! It was time to break open the Wake Up stamp set.

Here is the sketch:
And here is my take:

This was an easy card to put together. In fact, so easy that my five year old daughter made one as well! The hardest part of this card (for me, anyway) was the coloring of the bacon. I continue my goal of improving my coloring skills.

The Fairy Best...

Happy Saturday! It is my day on the Pink & Main Stamp blog! I love the fact that the Pink & Main stamps are challenging me to work on my coloring skills! I am slowly getting there, and just maybe I will get to work on the shadowing part of coloring.

Today's card is using the new Fairies stamp set. Isn't the fairy just darling?!

I colored the images with a variety of markers. Once the images were colored, I cut them out and set them aside. Now it was time to gather the papers together. I really wanted the fairy to be the focus of the card, so I decided to have her popping out of a polaroid die.

It is hard to see in the picture above, I added some fairy dust (glitter) falling from the wand.  After piecing the card together, the final part is to stamp the sentiment.

I hope you guys have been enjoying the Pink & Main cards using their new May releases! Next time, it will be time to start sharing off the June release!

Thank you for stopping by!

Gnome One Like You

Happy Saturday, Pink & Main friends! Today I am showcasing the new Hey Gnomie stamp set! I don't know about you, but I LOVE anything with Gnomes! So when I saw this stamp set was part of the May release, I was super excited!

I used the Hey Gnomie stamp set, to create the scene card below:

The gnome girl and mushrooms are colored in with a variety of markers. I set those aside to create the rest of the scene. A metal die was used to cut the papers for the background. The clouds are also created with a die. The pieces are attached to a tag shaped card to form the scene.

Here is a closer look at the Hey Gnomie stamp set:

Dropping you a line

Happy Saturday, Pink and Main friends!

Today, I am sharing a card using the Best Fishes stamp set. It is one of the new Pink and Main stamp sets being released this month. If you have not seen the May release, please stop by the shop to see all the awesome sets!

First, I colored the images I wanted to use on the card. The fish is actually from a large image. I just cut the part I wanted to use. The worm is attached with a string of twine. The water is created from a variety of vellum and cardstock pieces.

Thank you for stopping by today!  Keep checking the Pink & Main blog for more projects using the new May release!

I am excited to be showcased on the Neat and Tangled blog today!  To see the feature or to learn more about Neat and Tangled, please visit HERE!

About Me:

Hello, Neat and Tangled friends! My name is Jessica Pascarella and I live in Pearland, TX.  I have been a part of the Little Tangles design team since January 2014.  I have been in love with papercrafting for over 10 years. It all started when I took on the task on making my wedding invitations. I am mainly a cardmaker, but venture into scrapbooking and altered items. My style is mainly CAS, but I like to challenge myself with different styles and techniques. Please visit my blog, Kissin' Krafts to see more of my creations.

On a personal note, I am married to my awesome husband, Michael. We have three, equally as awesome, children (2 boys and 1 girl). We love to travel and play board games!

Happy Mother's Day with Pink & Main!

First of all, let's start off with saying Happy Mother's Day to all the awesome mothers out there!

To help celebrate this special day, I gathered up a few Pink & Main stamp sets (some from the upcoming May release) to create this fun card.

I started off with the 'TO DO' stamp from the Planner Tabs stamp set. The rest of the background used a variety of icons(from the new More Life Icons set) to make it look like a list of tasks that moms usually complete.  The main focus is of the SuperMOM image from the Super Mom stamp set. The simple sentiment is also from the Super Mom stamp set.

I had so much from creating this card!

Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week and finding some time to create something wonderful!

Today starts a new challenge over on the Little Tangles challenge.
It is my favorite style CAS (Clean and Simple)!

Here is my card using the Neat & Tangled Giving Tree stamp set:

This CAS card was super easy to make. I used a couple of the branch stamps included in the Giving Tree stamp set. I colored in the branches and stamped the owl image. Colored the owl and added the sentiment. Voila, finished!

Made in the USA DCWV Hoop Art

Hello DCWV friends! It is my day on the DCWV blog! Like many other crafters out there, I have a growing number of 'pins' to try over on my Pinterest page. I have been falling in love with the idea of hoop art and finally decided to give it a try!

DCWV Chick Chat Stack is perfect for the idea I had in mind. It contained burlap and lots of awesome bright colors.

To start off this project, I found a clip art of the United States and printed it on a variety of patterns from the Chick Chat Stack. Next was the longest part of this project...piecing together all fifty states. In doing so, I tried not to use the same paper next to each other.

Once the states were glued in place, I needed to fill in some of the empty spaces. I started with a title made using die cut letters with the matching papers. To finish, I added matching buttons randomly on the project.

I was super pleased with the outcome of this project. I will definitely being doing more hoop art. Have you tried it? Would love to see your work!

Thank you for stopping! Have a great day!
