Joy Clair - July Monthly Challenge

Happy July, Joy Clair friends! Today starts a new challenge over on the Joy Clair blog! This month, the design team is showcasing some of their favorite Joy Clair stamp set! The theme for this month is Anything Goes

Interested in joining the fun? Hop on over to the Joy Clair blog to find out how you can play along!

Today, I am playing with the Doodle Flower Background and Hello Sentiments stamp sets.

I love this background stamp! I decided to stamp/emboss the image in gold and cover only part of the panel. I left the bottom empty, so I could go back and emboss a sentiment. The sentiment is from the Hello Sentiment stamp set. I attached the embossed panel onto a robin's egg blue cardstock.

Such an easy card to create. You can even color in the image for a different look!

Thank you for stopping by!

Have a wonderful day!

DCWV August Stackaholic Challenge

Who is ready for the August DCWV Stackaholic Challenge? There are two amazing sketches available to work with this month! This month I decided to play along with the card sketch.

Take a look at this sketch:

Here is the card I made using the new Gilded Grey Stack available at AC Moore stores:

I chose to stick pretty close to the sketch provided. The only real difference is the part that shows three circular embellishments. I turned made this part by cutting words out of a print provided in the stack.

Want to play along with the card sketch or check out the details about entering your creation? Stop by HERE for all the information!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Joy Clair August Challenge

Is it the first already?!?
Where does the time go?
Are ready to see the next Joy Clair challenge?

Below is the color inspiration for this month:

I used the colors in the above photo to start my card and filled in with some additional colors.

I used the Paisley Bouquet stamp set for this challenge card. I stamped the larger design onto white cardstock. The design is colored in with a variety of markers and colors. The design is cut out and used to embellish the black frame on the embossed card. A simple sentiment is stamped in the middle of the frame. A few sequins are added onto the card for additional elements.

Pink & Main July Challenge

Hello, Pink & Main friends! It is the first of July, which means...today starts a new challenge on the Pink & Main blog! This month's theme is SHAKER cards! I believe this is the second one I have ever made!
I used the super cute Pink & Main Little One stamp set and the Stitched Rounded Rectangles Dies to create this shaker card.

I used the Stitched Rounded Rectangle dies to create the frame and background of the shaker card. I outlined the background with foam tape and several square sequins. For the top of the shaker card, I added acetate underneath the frame and attached to the foam tape. The sentiment is stamped onto the frame. I stamped the elephant image on two prints and pieced the image together. The elephant image is attached to the acetate.

Do you love to create with Pink & Main stamps? We would love to see your projects! Please join the Pink & Main Creations Facebook Group and share your projects!

Pretty Cute Stamps Monthly Challenge

Today starts a new Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge! This month the challenge is to make a project that is not a card!

I have been sitting on a few of these burlap sacks, so I decided to break them out and make a gift bag using the new Grow stamp set!

This bag would be great to give a few seed packets to your favorite gardener. So I decided to create a panel with a scene from a garden. I used a variety of prints to create the scene. I also used a variety of prints to stamp the images on and cut out. The scene is pieced together and attached to the front of the bag.

    March Joy Clair Monthly Challenge

Who is up for another challenge? Today starts the second Joy Clair Challenge and it is sure to get you in the Spring mood?

Here is the inspiration photo for this month:

You can choose to play along with the photo challenge, the color challenge, or both!

I chose to work with papers that worked with the color combo.

I created a double layer mat to cover a card-base. I cut out a large flower from a printed paper. The sentiment is stamped onto a vellum strip of paper. The sentiment came from the Easter Eggs and Happy Easter stamp sets. This is a very simple, CAS to re-create!

A $25 gift card to the Joy Clair store.
Randomly selected to give everyone a chance to win!
