Pebbles, Inc. Guest Designer - Along the Way

Hello, Pebbles, Inc. fans! This is Jessi and I am excited to be a guest designer for the Pebbles. Inc blog. I was given the super adorable Along The Way Collection. Once I got the collection in my hands, I could not wait to get to work. I immediately fell in love with the gorgeous colors used throughout the variety of prints!

First up, I made a simple home décor hanging using a few different prints:

This project started with a unfinished house shape wooden piece. I cut the different prints down to the correct sized and glued to the wood. I used a few more prints for form the different layers to highlight the saying. To finish the piece, I used on the of pieces from the Along the Way Ephemeras.

Next up is a page I completed in my Bible Journal:

I used more of the additional Along the Way embellishments than I did the papers. I used some ephemeras, 3D sticker, and word stickers. I did cut up a few of the 2x3 squares included on one side of  a 12x12 sheet. 

Another thing I loved about this collection is how easy it is to throw together some quick cards:

In the Along the Way collection, there is a box of cards. These cards are made using some of the fun prints from the collection. A great way to get started on a card. I cut up a few different tags from a 12x12 sheet and created the cards using frames and stripes of paper.

Guest Designer - Die Cuttin' Divas

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I am excited to be a guest designer on the latest Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge! If you have not heard of them before, stop by HERE to check them out!

Today's challenge theme is Reindeer and/or Santa:

I used a variety of dies to create the scene on the card. The scene is created by using a Pink & Main Stitched square die. The reindeer is created using the Taylored Expressions Fawn die. To complete the Rudolph, I added a red enamel dot for the nose. The snowy hill is formed using the My Favorite Things Snow Drift die. The tree dies are from C.C. Designs. The scene is attached to a fun print. The sentiment is stamped onto a red printed stripe.

Inspired by Stamping - Guest Designer Pt. 1

Hello, Inspired by Stamping friends! My name is Jessica Pascarella and I am excited to be the November guest designer! I want to start off my saying 'Thank You' to Joanna for this opportunity and I look forward to working with the team this month!

I have two cards to share with you today. I created a some fall-themed cards, highlight some of my favorite Inspired by Stamping stamp sets.

First up, is a card I made using the Autumn Harvest stamp set.

I stamped the barrel and apple images with a brown ink. Once the ink dried, I used a variety of markers to color in the image. The image is cut out onto a diecut tag. A burnt orange ribbon is stapled onto the top of the tag. The tag is then attached to a variety of fall printed paper. A simple sentiment is formed using the stamps from the Autumn Harvest stamp set.

Next up is my project using the Autumn Blessings stamp set:

To start off this card, I stamped the pumpkin image repeatedly onto the cardstock. The green leave is stamped onto each pumpkin. A yellow ribbon is attached around the bottom of the pumpkin panel and attached to a brown printed paper and then attached to the card base. A fancy diecut is used for the sentiment. The sentiment is stamped in brown. To fill in some of the empty space, I stamped a branch image in two corners using a golden brown ink.

Guest Designer Tog Dog Dies - Sugar Skull Die Set

Hello everyone! I am back again for another guest designer project for Top Dog Dies. If you happened to miss their latest release, please stop by their store to see the fabulous designs.

 

I created a banner using the new Sugar Skull Die set.  

 

To create the banner, I alternated the skulls(layered on black cardstock) and the solid orange backing mat. I used alpha stickers to spell out SPOOKY for the banner.

 I really like the pierced edging around the skull head. It adds a fun detail to the banner! Holes are punched on the top of the individual skulls and strung onto a black piece of twine.

 

 I also decided to make an actual sugar skull with the die. I took a black Sharpie pen and hand-drew the design onto the skull. I used Chameleon Markers to color in the design. I used a variety of colored cardstock to create the eyes, nose and mouth of the sugar skull.  I used the back matting die to cut the shape of the skull out of the black cardstock and placed a lime green cardstock underneath the black cardstock. The sugar skull is added using a foam dot.

Guest Designer Top Dog Dies - Haunted Houses

Hello everyone, this is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts. I am super excited to be a guest designer for Top Dog Dies. If you happened to miss their latest release, please stop by their store to see the fabulous designs.

Today I am working with the new Haunted House Die Set. I decided to create a mini shadow box display using all the dies from the set.

 

To start the project, I used a variety of cardstocks and created all the die-cuts. I made sure to have several of each design, to give myself plenty of things to work with. I measured the backing of the box and cut out the patterned paper to fit.

 

 

I created one layer at a time, starting with the back layer. The individual pieces are moved around until I am happy with their location. Once I am happy with the entire layer, I start gluing the pieces.

 

 

To create dimension within the shadow box, I used foam dots to pop the next layer out.

 

 

The last layer is the haunted house.  A few additional dots are added to the back of the house to make it pop out further in the shadow box.

Once the house is placed, the scene is complete. Simply add some adhesive to the back of the scene and place inside the shadow box.

I'm Featured on Market Street Stamps!

First of all, I would like to start off with a big THANK YOU to Market Street Stamps for this opportunity to be the feature blogger on today's post! My favorite thing about Market Street Stamps is the high-quality, crisp images you get every time! The images are a perfect size for paper-piecing or coloring (which I chose to do on today's project)!

As soon as I got my hands on Market Street Stamps Gone Campin', I knew that I wanted to make some kind on treat packaging for Smores. A few thoughts came to mind and decided to give it a try using canvas treat bags. I started off with stamping the Gone Campin' images with black ink. The first attempt to coloring, I used markers, but they bled too much. For the next attempt, I brought out the color pencils! They worked great!!!

Guest designing at Sweet Stamp Shop

Happy Good Friday all! And it is indeed "GOOD" for multiple reasons!

 

Today, I am excited to be a guest designer for Sweet Stamp Shop's March release! I have a few projects to share with you today!

 

The first one up is the one that was shown earlier this month, using Sweet Stamp Shop's new Calendar stamp set:

 

When I first saw this stamp set, I had a few projects pop into my head! The first one was to make a desk calendar that can be easily switched month to month. (Sorry for my not-so-pretty handwriting! If you have small number stamps, that would work perfect with this calendar stamp.) 

 

Project number two with Sweet Stamp Shop's Calendar set was to make a dry erase To-Do board/frame. I went to the dollar store and picked out a simple black frame. I created a 5x7 layout using Sweet Stamp Shop's  Calendar set and Warm Notes.

 



I used the Sweet Stamp Shop's Warm Notes on the following card as well. I used the fern stamp and stamped the image upright and them stamped upside down to create the card's design. The burlap background stamp is used along with the sentiment.

 

I love the dial from Sweet Stamp Shop's Let's Chat stamp set. I wanted to make it the focal part of this card. Using the cord stamp, I stamped the image twice to create the background of the card.

 

 

The dial stamp is attached using foam squares to and dimension to the card.

 

 

The memo stamp from the  Let's Chat set is a perfect way to personalize a card! You can fill in the blank and send it on to that special someone. It is sure to brighten their day!

 

The last card of the day using Sweet Stamp Shop's View Finder stamp set. (Also, used a hint of this set on the previous card---the arrow.) I have been seeing black card around the blogger world and decided to give it a try!
