Inspired by Stamping November Release Blog Hop

Hello, friends! I am excited to be a guest designer for Inspired by Stamping. I am joining them for the month of November. First up is their November Release blog hop.

If you have been hopping along with them, you should be arriving from the talented Linsday's blog. If you happened upon my blog and would like to start at the beginning, you can start at Joanna's blog.

Inspired by Stamping is releasing three stamp sets this month. First up is the new Snowflakes stamp set. I have two projects today showing how you can use this amazing stamp set.

I love to emboss snowflakes. I decided to use white embossing powder on a navy cardstock. This allows the snowflakes to really pop off the project. To start this project, a banner diecut is cut out of the cardstock. I stamped the different snowflake images onto the cardstock and covered it with the embossing powder. Some loose powder is sprinkled over the empty spaces. A heat gun is used to heat up the powder. The sentiment is stamped onto a diecut and the same embossing technique was used. A pretty blue twine was added beneath the sentiment. I used the navy ribbon from the __________ ribbon set to from the tag.

I used the same embossing technique on this card, but with gold powder. The sentiment is added to a strip of cardstock and attached to the front of the card. I layered the embossed cardstock on top of a striped vellum piece of paper.

Did you see the amazing giveaway going on? Make sure you comment along the way for your chance to win!

There is also a great promotion going on in the shop!

Thank you for stopping by! We hope you had a great hop and was inspired to go get

I paired up the fun DieVersion Baby Boy Bootie die, DL Art Baby Bundle ribbon and Joy Clair's Oh, Baby stamp set with fun papers from Pebbles. I decided to use a variety of prints of pinks to make a girl card.

The baby boy bootie die is attached to a circle cut out and added to the card front. I wrapped the ribbon around the card and slipped a printed paper for the sentiment towards the bottom of the card. This is a very simple card to recreate and easy to switch to a card for a baby boy!

I Love You Card using Classy Copper

Hello, DCWV friends! I was lucky enough to attend the CHA Mega Show in January and I came home inspired! One section of the show, showcased Hot Trends for 2016. One of the trends mentioned was the use of metallic colors. When I hear metallic colors, I usually think about gold/bronze colors. When Megan handed me on of the new DCWV stacks, Classy Copper, I fell in love with the copper touches. I could not wait to get to work!

I really wanted to make the copper touches to POP off the card! Some time to gather the supplies!

Most of the time when I sit down to create a card, I create as I go. Sometimes when I picture a card in my head, I pre-cut all the elements before I start piecing the card together. When I was going through the DCWV stack, I pulled out a few different prints to work with and started to cut out the elements.

After spending over 30 minutes re-arranging the pieces, I could not make up my mind. I turned to my DCWV DT sisters and they came to the rescue! In fact, they made a suggestion that I never thought about and it WORKED! (Thanks, Tessa!)

So here is the final product! I am pretty happy with how it turned out!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful!

Joy Clair - He Has Risen

Hello, Joy Clair friends!  I am excited to be sharing one of my latest Joy Clair projects with you today! Joy Clair released 8 stamp sets this week and are all currently on sale. You can check out the new release HERE!

Today, I am working with the new set, He has Risen, from the Color by Faith series.

He has Risen Clear Stamps - Joy Clair - 1

Here is the bible journaling page using this inspiring stamp set:

I stamped the cross onto cardstock and colored with a variety of markers. The cross is cut out and set aside. I used gelatos and the baby wipe technique to create the background on the page. The face of Jesus stamp is stamped in a light ink onto the gelatos background. To add a little more to the page, I added a few cloud diecuts. The cross is added to the page.

What to learn more about Joy Clair stamps or see a number of inspirational bible journaling projects,  using the stamps, please join the Joy Clair Color by Faith Facebook Group.

Prickley Hibiscus CAS Style

Hello, peeps! I hope everyone is enjoying this fine day! I know some of you are experiencing some cold, nasty weather, so hopefully this card will brighten your day :)

Today I am sharing my latest card from Prickley Pear! I am sticking to my normal style, CAS, with this card:

A simple border embossing is added to the white cardstock layer before attaching it to the card backing. A simple sentiment is stamped on the bottom right corner.

To add alittle "POP" to the card, I used the Hibiscus Die and colored in the stamp with bright fun colors. The die is attached to the card using a foam dot.

Have you heard about the Prickley Pear Blog Hop going on next week? It starts on the 25th. There will be 3 full days of a variety of projects showcasing Prickley Pear's Spring Release! I hope you will stop by and check it out!

Have a great day!

Thank You Little Birdie

Hello, gel-a-tins friends! Today's project highlights the gel-a-tins Build Your Own Paisley Stamp set. The dotted outline paisley makes a pretty paper-pieced bird.

The wing of the bird was cut-out by outlining the small solid paisley stamp in the Build Your Own Paisley Stamp set. A pendant die cut is used to form the beak.  The decorative window is formed with diecuts as well.   A simple sentiment from gel-a-tins Honey Bear is added to finalize the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful day!
