Elegant gel-a-tins Easter

Don't you love the Easter season?! I always find it very refreshing!

Hello, gel-a-tins fans! It's Jessi here from Kissin' Krafts. Over the month of April, you will see projects created by our talented design team, using products from The Robin's Nest.

My card today uses gel-a-tins Easter Bunny stamp set and a variety of glitter paper/cardstock from The Robin's Nest:

I decided to stick with my CAS style, because the glitter is the star of the show. And I didn't want to crowd the stage. So I decided to use a simple sentiment from the Easter Bunnies stamp set to show the purpose of the card. The finishing touch was to add a few sequins pieces.

Happy Monday, Prickley Pear fans! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! Today, I am sharing a gift tag that would be perfect for that new baby gift.

I used the Prickley Pear's "Baby" stamp, along with the paper piecing technique.

To add some dimension to the tag, the baby image is added with foam squares. The sentiment is created using alpha letter stickers.

Guest designing at Sweet Stamp Shop

Happy Good Friday all! And it is indeed "GOOD" for multiple reasons!

Today, I am excited to be a guest designer for Sweet Stamp Shop's March release! I have a few projects to share with you today!

The first one up is the one that was shown earlier this month, using Sweet Stamp Shop's new Calendar stamp set:

When I first saw this stamp set, I had a few projects pop into my head! The first one was to make a desk calendar that can be easily switched month to month. (Sorry for my not-so-pretty handwriting! If you have small number stamps, that would work perfect with this calendar stamp.)

Project number two with Sweet Stamp Shop's Calendar set was to make a dry erase To-Do board/frame. I went to the dollar store and picked out a simple black frame. I created a 5x7 layout using Sweet Stamp Shop's  Calendar set and Warm Notes.

I used the Sweet Stamp Shop's Warm Notes on the following card as well. I used the fern stamp and stamped the image upright and them stamped upside down to create the card's design. The burlap background stamp is used along with the sentiment.

I love the dial from Sweet Stamp Shop's Let's Chat stamp set. I wanted to make it the focal part of this card. Using the cord stamp, I stamped the image twice to create the background of the card.

The dial stamp is attached using foam squares to and dimension to the card.

The memo stamp from the  Let's Chat set is a perfect way to personalize a card! You can fill in the blank and send it on to that special someone. It is sure to brighten their day!

The last card of the day using Sweet Stamp Shop's View Finder stamp set. (Also, used a hint of this set on the previous card---the arrow.) I have been seeing black card around the blogger world and decided to give it a try!

Thank you for stopping by today! I have had an exciting time being one of the guest designers for Sweet Stamp Shop! It has been a fun month!

Be sure to stop by and show them some love!

Avery Elle Challenge Entry

Happy Thursday, all! Can you feel it? The weekend? A holiday weekend, as well! It is almost here!

Today I decided to take a break and create a card for the pure, fun of it! I saw the inspiration picture for the current Avery Elle March Challenge and decided I was going to play along!

Here is the inspiration picture:

And here is my take on the photo using Avery Elle's Oh, Baby Stamp set:

This paper from Crate Paper reminded me of the water in the inspiration photo. I also decided to cut the paper into strips to make it look let the wooden pier. The sentiment is inspired by the fading of the water into the horizon. The "Baby" image is stamped in a tan ink for the background and the "Congratulations" is stamped in a rich brown to make it look like it was in front.

Up for the challenge? Check out the Avery Elle March challenge and enter your creation!

Thank you for stopping by! Until next time!

Easter Greetings from gel-a-tins!

Hello, gel-a-tins fans! Jessi here, from Kissin' Krafts. Today I have created an elegant Easter card using gel-a-tins' Easter Bunnies Stamp set.

I used a cross die to create the diecut on the paper layer. To highlight the cross, I placed a piece of patterned paper under the diecut area. The Easter sentiment is stamp in brown ink below the diecut. One strip of patterned paper is added to the bottom of the card. The final touch was to add a few individual gems from gelly gem rolls to add elegant effect to the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy the rest of you week!

Happy Thursday all! I am excited to share some crafty news with you today!

I am a proud member of the design team for Get, Inky! Stamps! Their first release will happen soon! Until then, you can visit Blue Moon Creations to see their digis and their new clear stamp sets!

Here is a little about me:

My name is Jessica Pascarella from Pearland, Texas, USA. I have been addicted to paper-crafts for 10 years. My main love is card-making. But have started to expand into scrapbooking and altered items. My style is mainly Clean and Simple (CAS), but I love to challenge myself to try new styles as well as new techniques. My favorite stamping technique is paper-piecing. My main loves (outside of crafting) are spending quality time with my kiddos and husband, traveling and watching movies. I am excited to join the Get, Inky! Stamps design team and look forward to sharing my creations with you! Feel free to stop by to see my latest creations: Kissin' Krafts.

I created this CAS card using Get, Inky! Sew Sweet Cupcakes:

I used puffy paint to create the frosting on the cupcake!

Happy Easter! gel-atins style!

Can you believe that Easter is less than 2 weeks away? Are you ready gel-a-tins friends? Today I am sharing a CAS Easter card using the gel-a-tins Easter Bunnies stamp set.

Here is my gel-a-tins Easter creation:

I took the back of the egg stamp and inked it up with the purple ink and stamped. Wiped the purple ink off and allowed the stamp to dry. Then I put brown ink on the egg stamp (design side) and stamped over the purple. I cut the eggs out and attached to the embossed cardstock. The next step is to stamp and cut the bunny image from the stamp set.
